Thoughts From a Newbie

I suppose like most people, I had my doubts that Wealthy Affiliate is all they say they are. I wondered, "how is it that I can't find one single scam alert on a Google search?" It only seems right to admit I was a bit thrown off by seeing the Go Premium button everywhere. My first thought was that there were going to be up sells all over the place.

Well, that's the farthest thing from the truth. It took me less than 48 hours as a premium member to figure out that Wealthy Affiliate is for real. I can say with brilliant clarity that this is probably the best opportunity on the internet for success as an affiliate. And I haven't even earned a dime.

I was just on the Jaxxy keyword search engine and all I can say is WOW! Jaxxy is probably the biggest key to success on Wealthy Affiliate. I know this because I spent three years on another affiliate site. They had a keyword search, but it was nothing like this. Plus, you had to pay after you used up a certain amount of searches. Also, nobody explained how to use it. At least not as well as Kyle did. I'm not saying they were bad, I'm just saying that Wealthy Affiliate is OUTSTANDING.

It's the very nature of the internet that most of us have our doubts and see scams around every corner. This is because there are unscrupulous people all over the world lurking in the dark confines of their mother's basement trying to figure out how to part honest people from their hard-earned money. It's a breath of fresh air to find people who are honest and have our best interests at heart. These guys are already wealthy. I truly believe they have reached a point where they revel in watching others become successful.

I learned long ago that it's not the person living in the biggest house on the highest hill with the biggest room full of money who is truly successful. It's the people who leave behind a legacy when they are gone who are the real winners in life. They are the people who have made a difference and have left the world a better place.

BE A TORTISE, NOT A HARE

Common sense dictates that it's critical to follow the steps as closely as possible. Many people might just rush through the program with a sense of urgency so they can get to the monetization part. Chances are, they will be unhappy with the results and will have to return to the steps and redo things.

Because I have a compulsive personality, I feel like rushing as well. However, I realize from past mistakes that it would be the highway to failure. It doesn't mean you can't earn money in a month. If you are able to commit the time to get through all the steps, of course you can earn sooner. It all comes down to how committed you are.

I have been so excited about this, that I forgot to make my usual 5 pm dinner. It's 8:45 as I type. It's time to eat or I'll pass out on the keyboard. I just got too excited about Jaxxy I guess. I found a keyword for my site that had 9404 searches, 1600 traffic for first page ranking, only 86 competitors with the same keyword, and 90 out of 100 odds of ending up on the first page of Google search. That's like money in the bank. My goal will be to be number one on that page.

Of course, all this takes time, but if it's done right it can be done.

As I am a writer, I seem to have a knack for helping others find an interesting niche for their category of choice. I believe it's because over the years I learned to think outside of the box. Should anyone want to run an idea past me I will be more than happy to help them brainstorm a niche they can work with. People have already helped me, so it seems only right to return the favor.

I have a Kraft Dinner calling my name. Yes, you heard right. A Kraft Dinner. I love to cook healthy meals, but right now I need something fast so I can get back to work. It seems quite possible I'm going to have cheesy noodles all over the keyboard.
