Belief Systems are ideas, values and attitudes that shape the way we look and experience the world.

Belief systems have a significant impact on an individual's behavior. They influence how you make decisions, how you interact with others and how you deal with any situation in life.

Positive and negative belief systems can help drive you or cause you roadblocks. Your response depends on the importance of your belief.

Take note of your positive responses, acknowledging positive belief systems will help you to further affirm these beliefs creating room for growth. Your positive belief systems feed your drive in life.

Take note when you feel challenged, analyzing why you feel challenged, the emotions it brings up for you, where does this stem from, how is it helpful and unhelpful, the more understanding you build around your negative belief systems the easier it will be to relearn these.

Knowing your self beliefs shape your outlook on life, your purpose and personal expectations.

I'm grateful that I can share with hope it stirs curiosity in others promoting self awareness and growth!

Yes I do have personal strategies I use for myself.

I identify certain emotions I experience within interactions with others or emotions that trigger a reaction or uncomfortable response, even in circumstances where I hear my thoughts creating problems or focusing on the worst case scenarios rather than looking at things as a challenge to learn and the goal is the solution.

I write down the first initial emotion and a couple of words next to it in case I'm busy and can't look at it straight away.

When I do get the chance to look at it I always ask myself why do I think I feel that way, write it down.

Usually this is where I find my belief being exposed, is it helpful as a protection or is it a unhelpful limiting self belief, write it down,

When do I first remember feeling this emotion, write it down. This indicates what happened in your life that has caused yourself to create this belief in the first place. Gaining understanding.

I then ask myself what other perspectives and possibilities could come from adjusting my belief around this situation, write it down.

Then I challenge myself by writing my statement such as;

When experiencing uncomfortable emotions, namely, I aim to acknowledge them and consciously sit through the emotion with the same purpose as prior to the trigger, creating new paths which eventually changes or shifts that negative belief but not straight away it's definitely a gradual change.

I also write down later what happened when I challenged response what ever that maybe.

I actually use this strategy with all my negative reactions as awareness is the first step to changing or unlearning beliefs and behavior's
