Quiting is Easy

I sit here thinking "what could I add to help others to improve their lifestyle and do something that would be a benefit in the long run."

I have been part of WA since 2018. Yet I am nowhere near successful yet and have given in too many times and did nothing with this great opportunity. I haven't quit but so many times I have thought about it!

And there are so many successful people here "what could I add that would help someone else be successful".

LESSONS FROM LIFE

Why is it that with some things quitting is so easy?

When you want to exercise more to help improve your physical fitness it is so easy to quit - to give up and go back to your old routine.

When you want to eat healthier to improve your health it is so easy to quit - to give up and go back to your old eating habits.

When you finally get it in your head that you want to quit smoking you often quit quitting because it is not as easy as you thought.

When you join WA there are endless opportunities to be a blessing to yourself and others yet so often people quit and move on to other things.

Yet, there are some things that are easy to quit!

It didn't take me too long to quit stealing cookies from the cookie jar once mom found out and slapped my hand.

It didn't take too long to quit drinking when I began to help a friend quit.

It didn't take too long to quit cussing when I realized that it made me look stupid.

It did take a while to learn to live within my means instead of using credit.

So here is what I learned from life.

If you want something bad enough, you'll find a way.

If you don't want it bad enough, you will find any excused to quit.

That's all Folks. There is no secret to success in any endeavor, it takes hard work.

I hope I helped you in some way with whatever you are struggling with today.

Have a blessed weekend.

Ray

PS I haven't quit just reformatting again.

Food for thought!
It's so easy to find an excuse to return to our comfort zone and quit.
However, success doesn't happen overnight; we must work for it.

I know what you mean.

Quitting is generally the easiest thing in the world to do Ray. Just ask me!

So many reasons why we don't or won't change. Just a lot of empty excuses. Hmmm maybe I should write a book on all the easy ways to quit and get nowhere in life. The joke would be I would probably quit many times while writing the book. haha

Great message that we can never hear enough of!

Mel

Your right Mel maybe the point is not to get distracted by the why's just keep on trying.

Love it, Ray! Some very true words here, my friend! We must always remember that quitters never win--never succeed! I hope all is going well with you and yours, my friend!

Jeff

Hi Jeff. I am doing well it is just that too often I get distracted. Oh well, must keep trying like the little choo choo that could ;-)

I think that we are all the same way many times, Ray! We must simply persevere, my friend!

Jeff

A great message. Guess we need to be more hungry.
Thanks,

Ray

I think that you are on to something there - how successful we end up depends on how hungry we are to achieve.

Hi Ray, pleased to meet you.

Congratulations on your retirement in the Navy. You mention you had some turbulence, but you did something most don't and you saw it to the finish. :)

I do think there is one secret most don't consider, so hope you don't mind my adding it here.

It takes weeks for something to become a routine, sometimes a little longer. Until something is a routine, performing the new task(s) are often a dreaded routine, not fitting into the neat little box we try to fit everything into.

But once one has done it for those initial weeks, it creates a new box in the routine boxes of our lives and will feel more natural, until such a point where it feels wrong not to be doing it.

I took a look at your blogs and can see much room for you to grow them, especially your walking hope website. If you build upon your passion as a pastor, you will eventually have more likelihood because of the established authority you can bring to the intent you started with on your first site on affiliate marketing.

You are the product, so to speak so I would work on that aspect a little more. I saw you moving in this direction on your second site and believe if you continue on that road creating a real connection with your readers you will do very well here.

I would also advise to spend more time researching keywords. Discoverability coupled with those coming there finding the man behind the words will be an unbeatable combination.

You're an interesting fellow with many pearls to share. Personalizing that sharing with real stories and lessons will act as a magnet in your ministry that can take place on your blog. Church is where two or more gather in His name, and that place can most definitely be your blog.

Regards to you and yours,

Jason

Thanks Jason you have given me much to consider.
