A Sunday Morning Thought
It's Sunday morning in my neck of the woods. As I begin my day I realize think about all that I could have accomplished but haven't. I know I need to get moving, Sunday for a pastor can be a busy time, but I choose to think of it of a time to let go and let God work out all the things that I cannot or I forgot to do.
Just wanted to stop by WA and thank everyone for all the posts and updates they have produced this week. I do feel like a bystander most days here. Like someone watching a good ball game getting all excited about what is happening on the field. That's me.
I know there are many others that get excited about the progress people are making towards success. If you are out there and this describes you, then don't give up on your dream. Success is possible but it does take work. Keep cheering on those who are on the field and keep dreaming the impossible dream. It's Sunday, enjoy the day then make up your mind to do a little better at whatever next week.
Remember - "Success is the progressive realization of a worthwhile dream or goal" (Author unknown).
If you haven't found a dream or goal that is worthwhile to you then take some time today to think about that. And have a blessed day anyway.

A philosophical post, so I'll be philosophical too.
Success undefined must be objectively what is subjective to the individual. In the slums of Kolkata, no doubt it is merely to survive yet another harsh day. In the lush consumerist paradise of Beverly Hills, it may be to score yet another big hit and earn millions of dollars.
For me, and I suspect for many other members of WA, success is putting one foot in front of another for yet another day, trudging on regardless towards the vista of a promised land...

Thank you, Ray, for these words, very inspiring, and even though you say that you feel like a bystander, I think you are accomplishing a lot, take this post for example, very nicely done.
You may feel like a bystander now, but that's part of the learning process. Keep learning, reading, analyzing, and one day you'll be ready to get in the game and you'll get a hit pretty fast because of the time you've spent preparing.

You are right Ray we should let God do his job and take care of whatever needs to be taken care of. I know how busy a Sunday can be because I am married to a pastor and yes it is a busy time so I understand what you speaking of.

Hi Ray, thank you for sharing that great reminder. We all knead it from time to time. It's like a game that comprises of drifent players. Let's say a soccer game. The one that scored the goals to win. Did not win the game. It is the Team that win. WA community is like a Team .we are thankful for the ones that reach their goals. even before us.
