You can set what page (or post) you want to show when entering your domain at settings -> reading -> front page displays

You can create a home page by creating a new page called home. But you can also use any other page to show as "entrance page".

For now I made "getting started online" as the page people see when going to http://www.imkick.com But a lot of people show their latest post.

It's probably a post not a page. Try looking under Posts=> All Posts. If that doesn't help then visit your website while you're logged in (top left where it shows the website name) and click on 'Edit this post'. I hope you find it. ~Marion
