$2772 Revenue and $1163 Profit In November :)

I have two objectives with this post. Objective one is to provide motivation and objective two is for me to keep record of my own progress over time.

What makes me excited is that my online income is becoming more and more consistent, whereas before it was pretty much hit and miss. One month quite good, the next month hardly anything is the way it used to be. Things now seems to be changing in terms of consistency.

If I am able to make a $1000+ profit consistently each month then for me that will be a very good start for things to come and there are some signs that this is starting to happen on a much more consistent basis now.

My rent is $1500 dollars per month. So my next objective will be for my online earnings (second job) to pay for my rent each month on a consistent basis. That will make a massive difference if no money needs to be deducted from the salary earned from my main occupation to pay for my accommodation.

I wish you all the very best of success with your online business! And remember, if I and others can make it happen (others in a much bigger way), then so can you :)

congrats! and that's good you're improving your situation. I'm on my 7th month and my traffic is starting to get better more and more every month. I must be consistent and have been writing articles every week like at least 3. Reading things like what you wrote is optimistic and I like my niche and that's a must and striving to get better.

Hi Schalk,

Congratulations on becoming consistent with your earnings. It looks like you have cracked the code for the strategy you use.

Am I correct in deducing that you invested $1609 and made a clear profit of $1163? That gave you a monthly return of over 72% on your investment! Bankers get bonuses for achieving a 10% return in 12 months! Do you see the significance of what you are accomplishing?

Clearly, this strategy may not be suitable for everyone. Until they are able to accumulate sufficient seed money.

Does my assessment make sense to you? May I ask if your strategy involves using ads strategically? If so, did you learn this through WA or using a separate course? If you don't feel comfortable in sharing what you do that is OK.

The main takeaway is that it is possible for anyone to make money online. The challenge is to find a way that works for them.

Thanks for sharing.

Edwin

Hi Edwin

No, no ads involved. That was simply a breakdown of revenue vs profit. I have one website that just happens to be very niche and ranking very well, especially locally and brings in money consistently each month whereas the other website is quite thin in content so gets little traffic but converts well. So the aim is to create loads of content now for the website that is thin in content.

One strategy I started using which seems to work very well for me and will reap rewards in future is this strategy I posted about: Wishing you the very best of success! :)

Schalk

Good morning Schalk,

Thank you for your blog post. I hope you're doing well.

Congratulations on your fantastic blog post, it's great that things are on the up; well done! I know that you have been pushing forward and working hard with your online business. I'm sure that if you carry on going as you are, your business will continue to grow!

Wishing you a great day and a very happy Christmas.

Roy

Many thanks! The encouragement is much appreciated! Wishing you the very best of success! And wishing you a blessed Christmas with family too :)

When I see members like yourself, Schalk, really pushing forward and trying to make a go of their online business. It's really satisfying and encouraging when the breakthrough comes!👍👍

Roy

It is indeed very satisfying. I am thinking very hard now whether it is time to outsource. It feels hard to make this decision in a way only because you realise how much hard work it cost to get to a point to make online earnings so the thought of spending it instead of saving it haha.

But that is probs a very dumb way of looking at it coz you must be willing to invest in your online business and it is an investment not an expense.

So will see if I can get myself for a period of time to invest earnings in outsourcing. Maybe that should be the new years resolution 😂

Hello Schalk,

In my experience, Schalk, I have always found that if I invest well, I then see a return on my money. I'm talking more about my offline business in this instance. In other words, I could buy a cheap machine that wouldn't do the job or I could purchase a quality well, engineered machine that does the job well.

I believe that if you can find the right people to do your work, then it could make a huge difference. Have you seen Mike's article, it's a good one and I think you will benefit from reading it. I will put the link below. Wishing you all the best and for you to make the right decisions.

Roy

I have indeed seen his article and what prompted my comment to you 😊 I am really thinking strongly about outsourcing now. Just not exactly sure yet how to get the right person on board and get the balance right that I am not overpaying.

I'm glad that you have seen Mike's article, it's an excellent post as it shows what can be achieved. Mike works a full-time job, so his online business is more of a successful side hustle.

I just carried out a search in the search bar at Wealthy Affiliate. I found this video from Kyle, which may be helpful, I will put the link below. There were also lots of other articles etc., that came up in my search.

If you type into Google John Jonas outsourcing, he has some quite good information on the subject. I have a Kindle book by him; he gives some very useful information.

All the best.

Roy

Many thanks! I am actually aware of John Jonas as I have just yesterday came across the Philippine outsourcing agency he created. I will watch some of his videos too! Many thanks! I will also check out the link by Kyle.

Many thanks for your help in this regard.

Many thanks!
Schalk

It's a pleasure, Schalk! Yes, John has been around for many years, regarding the outsourcing business. I believe he is very genuine.

I really wish you well as it's great that you're making good progress, fantastic stuff, well done!

Roy

Thanks, Roy! I spoke to Mike and he thinks I still got some way to go to get more traction for the particular site I have in mind for outsourcing to avoid wasting money on outsourcing content where I have no guarantee that it will rank on page 1 etc. So need to still work a bit more on the authority of the site.

So still a bit of work to do before getting to the outsourcing bit. So we will see how it goes.

He also made a suggestion of a platform to look into for outsourcing content. He thinks that the Philippines are great for outsourcing other tasks but less so for blogging.

It's a pleasure to try and help, Schalk it's also great to see you moving forward! I'm glad that you are being very wise, I have always found that there seems to be a very fine line in life, when it comes to getting things right, especially in business!

In my experience, once a website starts making money and you keep growing it, things start to happen more rapidly. I believe this is what you are seeing. In the best possible way, Mike has a full-time job, which is great when you are starting an online business as it gives a lot more flexibility. I have my off-line business, but I still have limitations on how much I can put into the off-line business. The good thing is that it's growing!

Are you able to mention the platform that you recommended for outsourcing content, please? I appreciate that you might not be able to. You can private message me, but only if it's convenient for you, I understand both ways.

I'm really looking forward to seeing you grow, it's encouraging for every member, or at least it should be!

All the best.

Roy

That is of course not a problem to share it and yes, as you and Mike, I have a full time job too unfortunately haha which makes it a bit hard to get online things moving as quick as I would like.

I have another site that is actually making the real money atm opposed to the one I would like the outsourcing for.

Mike actually mentioned that perhaps I rather want to think about outsourcing content for the one that is making the good consistent money atm but I told him that this is a very niche site which does happen to make money consistently, but a niche where I don't have a lot of knowledge or a lot of interest in a way, as it is to do with crafting and I myself am not into crafts haha.

It is a long story how I got into this haha but if I am going to outsource I would rather like to outsource for articles in the make money online marketing niche, as that is my real interest and the niche where I have a lot more knowledge and can provide outsourcers with a lot more guidance in terms of what it is I want.

Actually here is a post I did at some point about this niche and how it all started haha: Will pm you now.

It sounds like we are all in the same boat! However, Mike has proved a good point and grown his website alongside his full-time job.

Maybe it's worth putting some feelers out, to see if you can find anyone who can write about your unique niche. I understand where you're coming from, I am not into crafts, so I can see your problem.

I have just read your post and commented, it fascinates me what people do and how different things work for different people. Well done for doing what you have done!

Thanks for the PM, I have replied.

My apologies, Schalk, I think you told me that you were living in London, but I could be wrong. I am in the UK. I think many of us speak to many people on the Wealthy Affiliate platform, it's a job to remember where everyone comes from.

Have a great day.

Roy

I am indeed in the UK. I will reply to you in more detail on my other post where you also commented, as not to duplicate my response (answer) but there is a bit more to it why I think that I am very successful in the niche that I may not be that familiar with. I perhaps did not paint the full picture. I will comment there now.

Will also address whether getting someone to write content for me in this niche may work or may not work. Not sure but will explain when I reply to your comment on my other post.

I had a feeling you were in the UK, Schalk! There are quite a few of us on the platform from the UK.

I will go and have a look at your other comment on the other thread in a few moments.

A very happy New Year to you.

Roy

😊 A very Happy New Year to you too.

Congratulations on your progress, and my commissions are a hit or miss as well. Rent is becoming outrageous, I too would like to earn enough every month to pay for my $1600 a month rent. I'm thankful my husband and daughter live with us, so they two pay the rent. But I like to help them out, when I receive my commissions every month I chip in.

Sounds like a great idea. Yes if we can just at least as a goal get our rent paid in full with online money on a consistent basis then that is indeed a very good start 😊

I love your second objective. This is something that I also need to work towards
Nothing is more exciting than when your side hustle becomes your main hustle

Well done and congratulations on all your achievements so far

I know there are so much more for you to come
Keep this momentum going

Many thanks! Glad it could be of motivation. Wishing you the very best of success!

Me too
And thank you, again

Hi…

Thank you for very motivating and informative blog post!

Great work!

-Mike

Many thanks! Glad it could be of motivation. Wishing you the very best of success!
