I am so lucky to live here, as this picture shows!
Though I am feeling utterly overwhelmed (that is the topic for another post) I am so lucky! This picture is from the mountain just behind our new place. My husband and I were both feeling sick and slept most of the weekend but we drove up the hill briefly to enjoy a bit of sun before it starts raining and we get busy with the workweek. We took our princess who is great with outdoor adventures!
She is like a dog and will come and stay with me. She is the smartest of our cats and very fun to do things with since she just seems to understand. We are pretty sure she is a French Chartreux.
Can you see the paraglider at the lower left of the sky portion in the picture? That person had just drifted right over our heads! It was quite a shock to look up and suddenly have that right above you silently drifting down the hill. It was so close we could hear the squeak of the lines as he adjusted his flight path. That was the only sound though!
I know I am lucky to have such a pretty place so close by! It is hard to get my husband to go up there though since there are quite a few cars and people at the end of the road here where they park and he worries about wearing out our old vehicles driving up there. So we don't go up as often as I would like. I am still so glad we live where we do though!!
He took a turn holding her while I took pictures and they were great! A man in a truck pulled up next to us and commented how neat it was to see someone bring their cat up there! I am so glad my husband takes just as much joy in taking her out as I do! He is a great kitty daddy and she has become Daddy's girl.

Such a gorgeous view! Your cat is a beauty too. You have a rich and beautiful life, Jessica.
Hi Jessica,
That view is absolutely beautiful!!! I'm so surprised the cat likes going on rides, so neat!! I would love to have a view like that in my back yard...WOW!! Thanks for the look into your part of the country. Have a great evening, take care my friend.

We can almost see this spot from our house which is down on the bottom level as you can see by the roads. We look up at this hill from our back door. Unfortunately we are in a very suburban area with 4 4-plexes all in a block so we have very little green space of our own. I am so glad we can drive up there though.
It is indeed beautiful, and I am so glad it gives you such joy and happiness. Give your princess a hug from me and tell her she Is beautiful.
Rolling along with hugz,
Sunday
Thanks Sunday. The picture actually inspired me to write a post on my website introducing her and explaining the history of the breed and speculating how she could have ended up in the pound.
