Did the Top 10 Posts Algorithm Change?
I am curious if the algorithm used to determine the Top 10 posts here at WA has changed recently. They are staying the same for days whereas they used to change every day (once in awhile a very popular post stayed for a few days). Did the timescale change? Are they not updating due to a glitch?
I am just curious.

There is a better improvement I could smell. It would not be glued the same tope tens for almost a week for nothing, I suppose.
At the same time personally, it's no issue.
I just thought there weren't as many people publishing anymore (much less interesting/useful content) so the system kept older ones longer.

My gut feel tells me something big is afoot that is more important than the top 10 posts. I have also noticed that the top 10 ranks haven't changed much from about the same time that the top 10 posts got frozen. Hence Kyle seems to have let them go stagnant until these changes are ready.
The 18th is a significant date as that is when he has his AMA webinar. Maybe something will be announced about the same time.
But who am I to speculate. I'm not going to object as I have never had 262 comments before on my WA posts.
My suggestion is not to worry about it and just press on with your businesses.

I am not worried, I was just wondering if it was not updating for me or if everyone else saw the same thing and if anyone knew the cause.
Yes, for those stuck in the top 10 right now it is a great boon!

Many members are curious, I am a renter of space and time here in WA, I am a little curious as well.
From historical observation, when things stall it signals change is coming.
From a marketing perspective, my curiosity is about the strategic plan and reasoning.
The thing is that Kyle and Carson really care about our success and provide us with everything we need and the guidance to succeed in the online world. Sometimes change can be the thing that is needed.
