Having a problem visualizing a financial goal

As a new member I made a rather large financial goal. As I began training the goal became hard to visualize. Instead of motivating me it was discouraging. I began to think “I’ll never be able to do this.” So I began to look for goals that I could meet every day.

Here is what I came up with.

  • 1.The night before make a goal to work x number of hours tomorrow.
  • 2.Follow the training step by step and simply complete what they say.
  • 3.Look at successful people in the community and try to emulate what they are doing.

I hope this helps someone

There is an expression that comes to mind that you should consider on your path to success.
How do you conquer the tallest mountain?
One step at a time. So keep that in mind. As long as you're moving forward even if it's a little step, you're closer to your goal. So you have the right idea.

That is a great approach Sheldon. Our big goals are useful. At the same time it serves us well to break them down into smaller goals so that we can gauge our progress as we go, celebrate those milestone. Overally, intermediate goals the journey become more fulfilling and fun and before you know it, the bigger goal becomes more and more of a reality.
