Feel Like Giving Up?
"Giving up on a goal because of a setback is like slashing your other 3 tires because you got a flat."
I haven't been feeling well for about a month and was hired for 2 new jobs at my 2nd job that is in addition to. In other words, I have a day job, a 2nd job and was hired for 2 additional positions at the 2nd job. In total, I work for 2 companies and have 4 job titles. All of this to pay the bills. I'm hoping the 2nd job will one day replace the 1st job and down the road WA may replace all of it. I recently got sick and discouraged with my progress at WA because of additional responsibilities that made it harder to do WA.
I was searching through my notebook for WA to remind myself where I left off and ran across the above quote that says it all.
Everytime I experience a setback I consider quitting WA, but can not seem to bring myself to click the "stop billing me button", I'm done.
Anybody know what I'm talking about?

Hi Susan, most of us have felt the same way, I know I have. I'm just not about to give up on my dreams, Because I'm investing in my own future. It's not a race, I'll get there when I get there, so will YOU. By reaching out you did a good thing, that's one benefits of WA, 'support'.
Hang in there m'dear, I'm rooting for ya. :-) Jon
Thank you for the support jonw. I'm glad to know others have considered the same thing. I like your expression, "I'll get there when I get there."

Hi Susan, if you quit you absolutely will not succeed, there's no chance whatsoever. However, if you'll just do something, anything, if not but a few minutes each day, it will keep you involved and get you a little closer to your goals. It's easy to quit, people do it all the time, it's the easy way out. Don't let that little voice in your head convince you it's not worth it to stay the course, because it is, there are so many people here that will tell you the same thing, Quitting is whats not worth it !! You Can and Will make it !!
Good Luck to you,
Rick
