Hi.
I have been using stock photos for my website, and now want to make use of screen shots, I wanted to know what are the leagal rules regarding choosing images over the
Posting unaltered screenshots of software, websites, computer/video games, etc., is generally considered fair use (with proper attribution), as long as it does not damage the commercial value of the product. ( a negative review) ... Screenshots for such purposes are widely regarded as fair use.
Courts have refused to set bright-line rules regarding what is fair use. Having said that if there was ever a challenge it is down to the interpretation of the Judge.
So at the end of the day, it can be down to us to decide what we do. As a rule of thumb, I tend to avoid shots that include trademarks unless you are promoting those products and screenshotting, the likes of movies, TV, etc.
Most screenshots are used to promote something, on the flip side screenshots can be used in a negative fashion, when used for a negative review, in which case the owner can take umbrage.
Thinking about it, the closer we get to using someone else’s creative work for our monetary or commercial gain, the less likely we are to be protected.
So in my mind, fair use and keeping the screenshots relevant to the content seems to be the way to go.
When it comes to the likes of WA we are from my observation free to screenshot to our heart's content.
If we are positively promoting someone's product or service the owner may be well pleased.
Just some thoughts and reflections.

Which browser are you using?
And do you have any oversize images or a table added to the content?
I use google. And I am using covers from the block editor.
Here is the website: https://mysandboxwebsite.siterubix.com/
I haven’t checked with Chrome on my desktop yet, but it doesn’t fit on mobile either.
As you can see from the screenshot, it looks like your font is a fixed size, and is pushing it off the page.
Is there a way to make the font dynamic?
It would be nice if the font changes with the change in device
It should be dynamic by default, unless you have changed the settings on the right-hand side of the Block Editor or added Custom CSS

Hi. I want to make a custom header in wordpress, what is the best plugin to use. I tries pearl header but it requires me to edit the header.php file please help
Thanks a lot, however, if you mean plugins like elementor I do not use it due to the emergence of the block editor.
Hi Teat,
What part of the header you'd like to customize? The header image?
What theme do you use? Is it a free or pro version?
There are some methods for making a custom header:
1) Use the Customizer
by using the WordPress Customizer. Depending on your theme, you might be able to do this by going to Appearance > Header.
2) Edit Your Theme’s Code
This method offers more control over the customizations, but obviously requires some coding knowledge. Before getting started, it’s smart to create a child theme. I would not recommend to do this method if you don't know what you're doing.
To edit your header’s code, navigate to Appearance > Theme Editor, then open the style.css file
3) Install a WordPress Header Plugin
A free and popular plugin you can use is Insert Headers and Footers.
Once it’s activated on your site, you can locate it under Settings > Insert Headers and Footer.
Next, within the Header section, you can add code for anything you want to add or remove from your header.
Scripts you put here will automatically be added to the ‘head’ tag of your WordPress site. When you’re done, click on the Save changes button.
4) Some people use Elementor plugin to customize their website.
If you use Elementor, follow these steps to get it done easily:
- Go to WordPress Dashboard > Templates > Theme Builder
- Click ‘Add New Template’ and choose ‘Header’.
- Name your header template and click ‘Create Header’
Now you’ll be able to either choose a pre-made header template or create one from scratch.
- Once you have made the needed changes to the header design, click ‘publish’, and choose where to publish the header. The default is ‘entire site’.
All the best,
Ferra
Thanks for such a big answer and your time. I have installed the pearl header plugin and I also tested it with insert headers and footers plugin, It does not seem to work.
I am actually asking this for a child theme I try to be really safe.
I do have some playing around to do.

Hi, everyone. Just wanted to know if I can email back my visitors through the email Id they gave me on the comments section. This way I can inform them about new posts. Thank y
No, you can't do that but you can start building an email list by creating optin forms on your website. Then you are okay to content them.
Note, if you mention when they sign up that they are agreeing to be kept updated in the future about your products and services then you will be covered.
Collecting emails is a great way of building your business, check out my last blog on my profile I talk all about my experiences with email marketing.
Trust this helps :)

Exactly as Petar mentions, no, you are not allowed to do this, as it will be classed as spamming. They are not a customer of yours and they have not signed up to receive newsletters from you.
What you can do though, is you can email them with a link to your signup form, one-time, asking them if they would like to receive future communications. Some autoresponders can do this automatically for you, by adding their details in and it will send them an option email that they must click on to accept.
If they do not accept, then no, you can not send them future emails.
