Thank you for this, Jay.
I have a question. Is there any training on how to insert YouTube movies, Buttons and Pictures into the block editor?
I don't know how to put pulled pints into the blog editor.
Maybe there is another video to teach me how to get around it a bit better.
Thank you so much

Elke

Thank you, Jay, for this post. This is my question; I have 50 + articles in Classic Editor. Do I have to do what you just did in all of those posts? I saw on another video that Classic Editor would not be supported after 12.,32.2021 and may expire at some point in the future,

Do you, Jay, or anyone have an answer to my question? Thanks

Your training last night was fantastic and this was a great reminder. I´m now getting to grips with Block Editor & yes it seems to have a Metaslider, so I can dump the plugin once I have got my head round it! :-) Thanks again Jay for the Friday training sessions. I think I missed my vocation not going into Marketing when I was younger but I´m catching up fast! Thank you.

Have a great day.

Hi Jay
Great video as have many old posts that I need to add a Woocommerce block into and with Classic it just adds it at the end after the gallery which is not very helpful.

I have a problem though that I can not find the 'Convert to Blocks' button.

I already use Blocks on all my newer content. How do I enable this so i can convert my existing posts - I have about 150 to do.

Thanks

Hi Richard,

When you open up the post in the classic editor, you should see a box on the right that says 'Switch to Block Editor'

If you don't see this, click the Screen Option button at the very top right side of the post.
This will upon up some settings and check the Editor box.
Then close the Screen Options

You now should have the 'Switch to Block Editor 'feature of the right.

So appreciate the feedback as know you are super busy - but still can not locate it.
I get screen options when in 'All Posts' but it disapperas when going to edit the single post. I have checked through all the settings options etc with the post and still can't find anything that helps.

I have attached a screenshot.

Thanks

Richard

This post looks as though it is already in blocks.
Here is a post that I have already converted to blocks
Can you do this:
1. Click between your paragraphs anywhere and do you see "add blocks" (refer screenshot)
then a block editor "search for block" should appear (2nd screenshot)

2. Personally I prefer the top editor (click your 3 dots in top right corner - 3rd screenshot)
Does that then work for you?

Hey Richard, Can I ask a favour please?
If you are using WooCommerce, can you please comment on your speed in my question? I haven't had anyone provide suggestions yet. Thank you

Thanks for the response John.
The issue here is that the whole original content is seen as one block and is not being divided into multiple bloacks as per Jays video. This means when I add a new Woocommerce Block (or any block, it will only add it at the end.
When I select the spotlight option - it also selects the whole lot.

Not sure where to next with this?

Cheers

Richard

I have only just loaded it recently and just getting it up and running, so probably early days for giving any feedback yet. Sorry. I'll refer back to the poast in a few weeks when I am operating properly.
Cheers

OK that is odd.
I converted all of my posts (1/2 written in Classic Editor) and about 1/2 in a mix of Block editor - all into Block Editor 2 weeks ago and had no problems.
You need to find that convert to blocks option. From the screenshot it looked as though it was already in block format.
Can you try another post?
All the steps should be in Jay's video and/or ChrystopherJ's detailed tutorial
