You will be expected to write a lot of well-researched, in-depth content for your website, a minimum of 2 to 3 articles every week, preferably at 1000 words or more.

And the more content the better. You need to show Google that you are an authority on your niche subject.

The first step in the process is that Google finds your website. This is called indexing, and can take a couple of weeks. You will get an email when it happens. After this, you can see your website in Google.

After that, each individual article you write needs to be found by Google and indexed. The final stage is when Google decides which page to display each post on, in its search engine results pages. The ultimate goal is to be placed on page 1.

This is called ranking, and can easily take 6 months.

As you can see, it's a long-term commitment.
