Drop Boxes, FTPs, Nameserver setups, I did it!!

Today, with lots of help and information sent to me from all of you wonderful people... I did it. I setup a dropbox account, backed up my blog site, and learned how to change the name on the web hosting in my Godaddy account to point to WA. Now to wait and see how long it takes to migrate from one server to the other. I'm so happy!!!

Well done! ~ Jude

I can say that I am learning a lot!!! Haha!! ;-)

Congratulations! It's really fun when you see the results!

Thants Joe! I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it gets moved and works!!! LOL

Have Faith! It will!

Thank you! Let's just see if it all works!!! Ha ha ha!!!

Woohoo! Nice work on accomplishing the technical stuff Carolyn!

Godaddy should change the DNS over to WA fairly quickly. I'd give it a couple hours.

Your website is going to to be great being on a Domain that you own! Congrats on setting that up :)

Hi! I need your help. Everything is showing it has come over and I am showing a placeholder page on the internet. I can't figure out how to point to my pages. I can see them on the web but it says the link is broken. I opened a technical support ticket. Is there something that has to be done now that I am not seeing? I do have a backup of the site in my Dropbox. Please let me know what to do. Thanks, Sunshine

Oh yeah! I also cannot login to my WP account for that site for some reason. I think it is because it is all in transit. At least I hope so!! HAha
