Life's Guidelines

How many of us panic when a serious problem comes up? There are certain things in my life that cause me to panic.

I can stay calm over 90 percent of major problems, except when one of my fur butt babies get sick.I lose it every time.

It is usually very minor and I must force myself to calm down and use their symptoms as a guideline to help them.

If we can view every negative incident just as a guideline, life may run smother. It’s not easy, but try it.

And please share your thoughts on this concept?

Rolling along,

Sunday

i feel frazzled at first, but then after a while I calm down and know something good will come out of it

I do that too

With age and experience you learn not to panic. Or at least not such fast, because most of the time it works out good. But in such moments a strange feeling is always around.
Most of the time it works out good.

Ive learned not to panic! It all works out in the end. We just have to keep on keeping on. Controlling the things we can control, and disregard the thins we can't.

Everything turns out as it should in the end

Most problems occur because of things you do or cause to be done. I understand this and, for that reason, can usually simply power through knowing that if I made the problem, I can fix it.

If I need extra help, I ask for it....

Great philosophy

It's worked so far!

Then keep fixing

Great quotation...I always love what Dr. Schuller has had to offer...

Truth is doc. I have a hard time with all man made religions If you wish to debate this wish me, I be delight to take you on
in private message

Always with respect t o your opinions

I take it you mean "human"-made...the other sounds very gender-specific and I don't think that's what you implied...and If I am right, then, you and I have no or little disagreement...the problem with religion is "humanity" ...we anthropomorphize "God" and excuse our short-comings as just being "human"...when, I believe that being "human" means we SHOULD be more kind to one another...oh well, forgive the blather...I still liked some of what Schuller had to say...even outside a religious context...

Darn it! I totally agree.

I miswrote. Each man, no matter his belief, utters true word during his lifetime...if these words bring love, comfort, and strength to ever one Soul, his life has been bless

Love those fur butt babies Sunday. Great for anxiety control!

Couldn't do without them

I also apply that philosophy to some rules. 90% of the time, rules are rules. They are inflexible and unbendable and in place for good reason, such as safety. But every now and then, a rule should be considered more as a guideline, because inflexibility could result in a bad end result, or even a catastrophe.

Thank you for your thoughts.
