Is it okay to link a YouTube video (it's not my video) on your website?

Once the share option is enabled on a YouTube video then it’s acceptable for you to use it.

To my understanding, as long there is share link, you can share the video to anywhere you want. It’s also beneficially to the owner. But out of courtesy, you may want to get their permission first. It’s all up to you.
You need to take permission from the video's owner first. If they approve, then you can embed the video on your website.

Linking to a video on YouTube will take your visitors off your website. The best way is to embed the video without showing the suggested videos at the end. Embed YouTube Video in WordPress
