Hello Paul,
I must admit, I don't particularly do New Year's resolutions, as I think the majority of New Year's resolutions fail.
For the last four years, I've started off with a twenty one day fast in January, not a total fast, as that would be too much for me, I eat less and only one meal per day and a small meal.
On the other end of the scale, I think it's great that you have made an organised plan, and if you can stick to that, that's fantastic. I think we have to remember with an online business that we build, it doesn't happen overnight, or over a long weekend, it takes time. But if we follow the training take advantages of the platform, in the right way, in other words, make use of the training, etc, it can be life changing.
Wishing you all the best and a great weekend.
Roy
Thanks a lot! I totally agree with, and I know by my experience I failed to keep my resolutions N number of times (my bad).
Yes. I'm committing for long-term.
Tour 21-day fasting is very inspiring!
Thanks a lot and wishing you all success!
It's always a pleasure, Paul!
That's great that you want to commit long-term, I think too many people expect things to happen overnight or even a week or so, but it's not like that.
Have a fantastic day.
Roy
Hey Paul
On another note, I have not made (I don't think I've ever) any resolutions.
Resolutions are not commitments, a commitment is the state or quality of being dedicated to a cause, activity.
Making a commitment is actually like taking an oath in court, it's that serious, a resolution is optional.
So I make commitments, not resolutions.
Just saying ^_^ Cheers
Morning Paul
Impressive goals, and I agree with your mantra 'Discipline is the bridge between goals and accomplishment.' and
I agree with what Confucius said 'It does not matter how slowly you go so long as you do not stop.'
The key is in implementing a strategy that incorporating these ideals, only personalized completely to suit you own plan.
Just saying ^_^ good plan Paul Cheers
I got it! To be honest, I too struggle a lot, and that's the reason this year I'm really pushing and focusing on it.
Once I read and I even tried to follow it. What I read is...
I'm sick of people who can't keep their resolutions. I always take one resolution every year, and I never missed it. My yearly resolution is... Not to take any resolution.
I'm trying my very best! I was a bit afraid that you might take my above comment wrongly on what I read. Nothing personal, sir, just shared.
To be honest... This is my 10th year at WA, and I'm yet to achieve the goals that I created 9 years before. That's my track record (my bad).
By God's grace, this time I'm going to give my very best.
JD, it just shows that you live and operate in the REAL World.
You remain a smart man.
Just saying ^_^, for a friend Cheers
Paul, I not offended, I rarely take thing personal. I'm pragmatic.
Here is my response 'Stop trying and just do.'
My life philosophy is simple 'DO'
I don't know if you remember how I ended up marry Cheryl. ' Ask for what you want, the most you could get is a No, something I already had even before I started. Asking clarified the position.
I don't advertise I just do, sometimes I fail often, but I make commitments and work towards it.
Stop trying your best and just do what you need to achieve your objectives.
There's one thing I would add - I don't measure my 'WORTH' by how other see me or responded to me.
I AM COMFORTABLE IN MY OWN SKIN
Just saying ^_^ as a friend
I Do for me, not to win anybody's admiration, I'm not the type to measure my worth by what people think.
Reason: People's opinion change like the weather.
Just saying ^_^ Cheers
Thanks a lot for the understanding! Taking resolutions every year and not following them does not make any sense, and I'm talking about myself. When I turn back and review them, I'm ashamed.

I didn't make any these year. Although I did update my goals here on WA towards end of last year. Also, I did have this funny idea of getting out of England once every month of 2026 but maybe I should not make such a big commitment to do it lol. Like just in case I can't but I am at least covered till April 😂
Thank you for sharing, wishing you all the very best!
