In a Stand Still, but Trying to be Productive

Hi guys,
Nice meeting you and thank you for paying attention to this blog post! My name is
Stina Pettersson. I am originally from Sweden, but now reside in Miami, Florida, since 3 years back. I am a dancer (Hip Hop/New Style), model (occasionally) and marketer/web designer. I joined WA a few weeks ago, after by coincidence stumbled upon a promoter for WA, while reading a review about Karatbars. An acquaintance from the gym wanted me to join Karatbars and of course when someone ask you to join something, you Google and read reviews about it first to get an idea if it is legitimate or not. I spent the whole day searching online trying to figure out if Karatbars was something worth dedicating time for. Like many of us, I was searching for something that could increase my paycheck a bit. The last review I read was a blog post from my coach here on WA, and I decided to check out this online model further. Since, I could not find anything saying that WA was a scam I decided to give it a go. I love to write and I am already a web designer (Wordpress) and SEO consultant, so I thought the time was right to try something like this. I have also been working with online and print marketing for 17 years, and if I can learn something NEW about how to successfully make business online through marketing, I am game! Also, potentially getting good revenue from something I like to do...awesome!

So far I have gone through the training and am now at course 2, lesson 10, as you probably understand writing my first blog post on here. I have decided on my niche, which is anti aging skin care (an interest of mine working with my appearance in focus) and I have created my first website and some blog posts. I just got told not to link to my website in the post, so that took away my whole purpose of getting feedback and help from you guys with this blog post. Anyhow..

Unfortunately, I am in a stand still right now and have not been able to make any sales yet. My social security number is some weeks away (hopefully only 1 week now) and without it I cannot register at any affiliate programs or Adsense and start seriously. What I am trying to focus on right now is to gain trust just by spreading information and knowledge, so I am creating content focused on that only right now. Also, to make sure my site is optimized properly and I have a change getting hits on relative subjects. I have looked up some products that I want to work with, and checked if the products I am using in my own beauty regimen, can be promoted through an affiliate program. Like mentioned in the training, it seems better to promote and write about something you have good experience of.

I have the financial goal to make $6000 a month after a period of 6 months with WA. I hope that is realistic?! Apart from my other marketing/web design business, I can give this as much time as needed to succeed. I feel that being on that level financially would make life easier and I could do more of what I love to do, and not have to worry about unexpected expenses etc. It can be very expensive being a dog mommy when they get sick or hurt. My babies, Max and Abigail, are the most important to me, so I tend to rush to the vet for the smallest sneeze just to make sure they are ok. And let me tell you, veterinarians have a really good hourly rate and you get robbed every time!

Back to the subject...after a year and more active websites, I want to make even more, of course! The only thing is that I do not know how I could have time managing and write for several websites yet with only 24 hours on a day. Tips anyone?? Blog posts or articles with at least 1500 words each are a lot of work to write...and all the research you have to put in to compare and be an expert on that particular product. As of today, my blog posts are taking too long to write, but hopefully I get better at it and faster.
