In September 2016 I found myself looking for a new career after 15 years in software sales which ended with a job that was demanding me to work all hours with no work-life balance - challenging my Scandinavian roots and outlook on life in a way that I had never experienced before. In Scandinavia we believe that is it is manageable to have a great job and maintain a good work-life balance....and I decided that it was all about my mindset and that it is possible to have a great work life balance anywhere....to be successful in your own right IF you are open to taking action, work hard and create a business of your own.
In my fourties, experienced and knowledgeable about my work I could see that there was no fit at all with the company culture of my then employer - so I QUIT.
I didn't want to start a new job in the same industry and went soul searching for a while to understand what could become a new career for me leveraging the skills I had from my sales experience but also embarking on a new journey to learn and grow. This is the experience I want to share with you on the Plant Food Fun website! My goal is to provide a resource for those like myself that are questioning their work-life balance, their health and how to be healthy after 40.
I truly believe that a plant based lifestyle will help you gain health and save money and live life to the full!
