Food for the soul - come gather round our campfire!
There is nothing like gathering around a camp fire to warm not only our bodies but also our souls!
We may not be able to gather in the flesh...but we can and do gather here!
This is not a blog post! it's a call to OUR tribe to gather with US around this camp fire and tell stories and sing songs of our victories and triumphs!
Please share one story with us in the comments below so we can listen quietly whilst toasting marshmallows and sipping coffee from tin cups. ◕ ‿ ◕

When we were little....I mean not even first grade little...my sister and I would sit with"Daddy" by the fire he built. near our cabin on vacation...we'd stare at beautiful clear skies full of stars and he would tell stories, play, make us laugh, teach us about outdoors..so many beautiful memories....thank you for this...
We don't have gatherings around campfires in the South ... too hot! But we do have crawfish boils!
You get a giant, giant pot and put it over an outside fire. Add Cajun seasonings, crawfish, corn on the cob and whole potatoes. Boil. Lay out newspaper on the picnic tables; drain the water from the pot. Pour the contents of the pot along the center of the table (all the way up and down).
Split open a crawfish, suck out the head then peel the body ... eat it all. The other stuff is just a side dish...
Yep - but in all honesty ... I can't stand the smell of fish! And to top it off, I'm a health food nut. The combination here in South Louisiana can be lethal. So I'm sort of an outsider and just bring my own food to any crawfish boil! But hey - if you or anybody else is ever in the neighborhood, give a shout and we'll have a crawfish boil ... zydeco and all! :-)
We're satellites breaking free from orbits, searching out new worlds in cyberspace gathering knowledge, returning o share it with who ever needs it.
campfire story of the new millennium LOL
I have been staring at your little post for nearly 15 minutes with a melancholic smile on my face, lost in some sweet memories of my childhood as I was remembering how safe and secure my father made me feel around our weekly campfire. He always insisted that I sit in is knees. I was about 6 or 7 at the time. Mysteriously bathed by the soft light of the moon, in that deep forest where we were camping, branches waltzing under the soft caress of the breeze, flickering fireflies everywhere and the noble and majestic howling of the wolves. Those were always special and dear memories of mine. Thanks for the good mood you've put my in.
how wonderfully poetic and beautiful that sounds ◕ ‿ ◕ thanks for painting such a lovely mental image ◕ ‿ ◕ now I'm smiling ◕ ‿ ◕
Campfire song
The more we get together,
Together, together
The more we get together,
The happier we'll be
For your friends are my friends
And my friends are your friends
The more we get together
The happier we'll be
You're singing it as you read it aren't you? LMAO.
Do you have a sing song to lol... we gather round the fire pit to, nothing like a good gathering of the clans just love it
Hi stevie, Theres been times where I was going to call it quits. But with all the people here is what keeps everybody going i think.I will never quit as long as I'm around a campfire like this. :)
I am new and this comment helps. I am a month in and about to be charged premium fees soon but am still going through initial tasks in bootcamp. Knowing the monthly fees are coming is what lights a campfire under my tail to get up and running even though I feel discouraged and cant picture making money from my blog. (Although logically, I know I should be able to if others can.)
Hi saintjoseph, That's how i felt about my website. If you put your nose to the grindstone and tell yourself i can do this, you will do it.With all the success stories you hear here how can you go wrong. Just do it. :)
Thanks, Ed. That helps. How long did it take you to get your blog/site out there and functioning?I have a lot of content in my head so that's not a problem :) I have one content article/entry written for one of my niches but not for the WA info site.
Hi saintjoseph,It took me a while just to figure out how to use wordpress. Now that i'm starting to get good at coding it's starting to work a little better.I had trouble just like everybody else trying to get traffic to my website then i found Wealthy Affiliates.I found out pretty quickly i don't know as much as i think i do. My website is ongoing but it's coming a lot better with all the training here.I find it a lot of fun just to see what i can do with it.
