Word Press Frustration!
Good Afternoon WA family, I had to stop working on my new website because I am soooo frustrated. I added an html widget to my sidebar and it doesn't show up on my website. I changed it to the text widget and it still doesn't show up. I went into customize and it shows there. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. It makes no sense that it shows in the customize area of word press but doesn't show up in my website.
I'm done fighting with it today. If anybody has any ideas on what I may be doing wrong, I'd love to hear it! I'll get back to it tomorrow.

If the code is for a banner ad then it won't show up if you have an ad blocker turned on in your browser.
Let us know what the code is supposed to do and we can try to figure out what the problem could be.
Sometimes a plugin or theme conflict may cause it. You can attempt to disable all plugins, and use one of the default themes. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of your troubles.

This could be because you have that page or post set to not allow a sidebar widget. Could be because you didn't update that widget too. It could be saved in customizer and it needs refreshing.
Rather than confuse you more.
As I also think you have had enough already. I know how you feel been there myself when I first started out.
Just contact Site-support/ Let them know your problems. They are so brilliant at this and super friendly.
Explain your situation to them they will sort it for you and also explain what is happening.
