The Journey Has Only Just Begun
I thought I would take a moment to reflect on my first month here at WA. And in in typical Steve Stott style, it will include bullet points.
ChristenMe.Com is up and running:
Success:
- All the required stuff is there; About Me, Privacy Policy and even an Affiliate Disclaimer.
- 7 additional articles posted. The latest one including all the tips from very supportive community
- All but finished Level 3. Just going to join ClickBank tomorrow. Tick
- Supplemental learning is building up knowledge bank.
Challanges:
- All content needs a re-writing for consistency.
- Images are hard to find when being specific. Working now with abstract images where there is no specific image found. And yes I will be removing all the images that I borrowed, shall we say. Thanks Amazon and Etsy
- Blocking out the noise. Keep additional leaning to the drive into work. Although a lot of good tips come from those classes.
- Site looks a bit bland on laptop. But I like the simple clear look on mobile. What to do?
Opportunities:
- Content, content and more content. However there needs to be a strategy. Monday afternoon at home each week to look at the categories and plan 3 articles. Ensuring they fill the site categories evenly and create a good flow with easy navigation.
- Develop a logo. I have been listening to Jay and will get on Canva this month. Watch this space; worlds worst designer in action. No fashion sense seems to translate to no design sense in general. Will keep learning and applying basic principles.
The first month has brought highs and lows. I am pleased with the direction I am heading and ok with the pace. The sceptic in me is still there hovering in the background.
My other business is taking a lot of my time and distracts me from my efforts here. A re-focus on mid term strategy and content should give a new focus.
Positivity is all around the community and thank everyone that puts up with my persistent questions.
I have decided to do the next month and then ask for site feedback. I have enough to work on and need to get work at the issues already highlighted.
That is it for now.

Awesome start, Steven! As for images, I take my own, turning some into banners and adding things to others to enhance my blog posts here, and my website posts!
Keep succeeding!
Jeff
