Connection Not Secure after site transfer

Hey guys

Just wondering if anyone can help me?

I have just transferred my .siterubix site to my own domain as you can see in the address bar.

The transfer went through fine, everything works properly but when i click on the site or the back office I get this page saying the connection is not secure with the https:// scored out.

Does anyone know why this has happened or how to fix it?

Thanks Steven

Hi Steven, just seen your question (08.30am UK) but I also see you got your answer and sorted. Great!

Stay safe and stay well.

You've received some good answers, Steven!👍

try going to your site manager, clicking on the details button on the bottom right of the domain you have, scroll down and make sure the Site SSL is on.

I hope this helps, if it's already on, I personally don't have another answer.

You can also get on the help center with the help desk and send them a message they are awesome and fast with helping on all kinds of things!

Hey Jenn, thanks for the very quick answer and the SOLUTION

I am so grateful thank you

Steven

Awesome! I'm grateful to help! :)

Usually, there are links (usually to images) that still point to the HTTP not the https. check the links on your site and edit them to include the https. There may even be links pointing back to the .sitrubix site. No way around it but to open each page, go to the text tab and use cntrl-f (shortcut for find) and HTTP to find the offending links.

Thanks Labman, I tried Jenn's suggestion first and it turns out that was the problem.

Thanks for your help, its much appreciated

Steven

I thought you had already done that and were still having issues. Make sure that you check each page and make sure there isn't an exclamation point in front of the page URL.

Yeah thanks I will also do that just to be safe.

Thanks for the advice
