I've not been around WA that long, but long enough to see some of the same old questions cropping up from those new to the site.

Will it work?

How long does it take?

How much money will I make?

I think my favourite one is 'will it work' - I know most people mean 'will it work for me', but I still can't help but to smile at it. It's like sitting in an aeroplane at 2000 feet asking if it's possible to fly ! If you have any doubts that it's possible to make money online, just look at the site infront of you (Wealthy Affiliate). Hmmm, I wonder if Kyle and Carson are making any money.

In case you are still struggling with that one, the answers yes :-)

There is no doubt about it that a very nice income can be made through the internet using the affiliate marketing model, and this site will show anyone who wants to learn how to do it.

What I love about WA is that it have a very real and vibrant community of members all chatting away and there to offer help if you need it. For some, just watching the videos will be enough and they will be off and running building their online portfolio, but for those who need a little bit more help or something explaining in a different way, the answer is easy - you only have to ask. Simples (as the Meerkat would say!)

Which leaves the two classics of how long and how much. I may have missed something, but I'm fairly sure WA makes it clear this is not a get rich quick scheme. The reality is there is no such thing, or not an ethical system that I would want to be involved in anyway.

The WA model is simple. You select a niche. Having identified your niche you set up your web site dedicated to it and begin to fill out the site with good, quality content. Good content (and a degree of online promotion and SEO) brings visitors to your site - traffic. Traffic means opportunity.

What opportunity you may ask.

Well, imagine this. I live just outside London (about 100 metres outside funny enough) and the city has a very busy shopping area known as Oxford street. For New York, think 5th Ave, you get the idea. What if I gave you a store free of charge on Oxford street or 5th avenue - do you think you could make money ?

Of course you could - you probably would not even need me to tell you what to sell - just stack it high and sell it cheap.

And so it is with your web site - if you get visitors, you can sell to them.

The information that you can learn here at WA can apply just as well to a site selling a physical product as anything else, so if you do manufacture the mk 6 super fang dangle widget, your in luck. For those who don't, we have affiliate marketing.

But how log will it take they cry !

To use an old English saying - how long is a piece of string ?

Meaning WA takes as long as it takes. For the most part it is going to take time to go through all the training, select your niche, set up your web site etc etc.

There are delays along the way such as waiting for Google to index your site and what have you.

Then you have to build the site content up and get traffic - this can take time.

All of this is in our own hands. Some people might want to take things slowly, others will sit late into the night pouring out content from their keyboard - whatever suits you. But you need the mindset of being in for the long term.

I don't believe anyone can fail to make money online if they follow the training available here and give it time to work - but how much time is fair to give ?

Well, I think all of it :-)

I think it is a path to failure to measure your efforts in time passed, as that can easily lead to disillusion and that leads to quitting.

Instead, try to focus on where your business is and are you moving forward - even if forward progress is simply finding out that the great niche you thought you were interested in is a load of boring rubbish ! Back to the drawing board, but maybe the next niche will be the one.

Make no mistake about it, as I've said already, this will work, so keep going.

Remember as Thomas Edison said....

"I have not failed 10,000 times. I have not failed once. I have succeeded in proving that those 10,000 ways will not work. When I have eliminated the ways that will not work, I will find the way that will work.”

Finaly, how much can you make.

I say with 100% believe.... as much as you want. Given the millions of people that use the internet everyday, how can there be a limit.

Your income level is truly governed by the effort and time you put in - nothing more, nothing less. The internet really is a place that you can dream big - why not.

But please, just don't expect to be buying your Ferrari tomorrow.
