Reached A Surprise Level - Will it be sustainable?
Starting 2021, I choose a difference path to explore the website journey, after 8 months, the results improve, but I am not sure - is it sustainable?.
Writing articles strictly followed WA rules of quality content and SEO practice to score as high as 100% readability, I found the post ranking improved a lot. After 8 months of hard work, all posts getting good ranking. I have no doubt about the content is supporting the website to get result as below.
Traffic grow to 3.3k by end of August 2021.
Organic Search increase to 86%.
The most difficult to pass is Core Web Vitals, takes more than 4 months to fine-tuning the setting for Asset CleanUp on Home Page, Post Type, and Page Type. Until last 2 weeks, the trend show green in the trending as below.
I saw one extra report come out from the Google Search Console as below.
What I am not sure is canned the good page speed maintain? Every week I test page speed on Friday to confirm the speed performance is maintained. But always need some cache purging and fine-tuning the setting to bring it back to all green. Not sure when my idea will exhaust to bring back the speed performance like in 2020 when I implement AMP.
My niche about electric bikes are worse for earning online. Most good electric bike sellers do not have affiliate program. Those sellers who has affiliate program, the electric bike quality cannot match my minimum requirement to sell to the buyers. Now I have traffic but Amazon do not have stock in the warehouse. Walmart indicate there is stock available but very few users clicked on to see the product. AVANT affiliate program I failed to get approval even JUICED BIKE give them a recommendation letter. The only reason I get is traffic is too low for approval. I welcome anyone who has idea to solve these tricky issue for me.
In fact, I earned some money for selling e-bikes in my country but not from my website. I used Google Map and Google My business to sell e-bikes in my town.
I hope my article give some push to members who need but do not discourage by the sales issue I am facing. The true is my traffic is low in the past. And US electric bike stock is low due to US and China trade dispute.

With that, I believe it will be sustainable- as you grow in traffic some of those affiliate programs should eventually be accessible. I remember I was denied several times already but I am still at it and have got some people trying to purchase my site, not selling though.

In advancing page speed improvement, I have experienced that Google can ask for more than expected to improve page speed. That's why it takes me a few months to clear the vital signs of the web.
A tough error still remained. Not sure how to improve Google Analytics JS yet because I do not want to pay Pro to AssetCleanUp without confirming it can clear the error.

Because my website is based on the American electric bicycle market, I think I should get an American member as a partner for the website. I asked Kyle some questions, but he won't answer by giving me another suggestion.
If I stayed in the United States, I will visit each seller to get a better understanding of their service support. Now I can do on the site chat with them only.
Do you think it is more profitable for the US member to own my website? As you said, just keep it for this moment.

Very interesting observations you have mentioned regarding the current state of affairs with respect to the availability of product.
With most nations needing to import / export -- if there are ever disruptions to trade, then, yes, it does affect availability of supply and meeting demand becomes challenging.

Amazon and Walmart are a trusted place for US buyers to buy. They should sell every brand of products in the platform for buyers to write reviews for them. Buyers are free to write reviews on the Amazone platform than Walmart or Seller platform which are too protective. Nothing right or wrong. Just wish new buyers can see the honest feedback from the product owners.

I find this very interesting. I do not know your niche. Electric bicycles. But I would imagine that once you have even more traffic you can then approach the better suppliers of choice and negotiate accordingly. Thanks for an insightful post.

In 2020, I focus on promoting electric bikes for Amazon, Walmart, JUICED Bike, and Bike Berry only because I have an affiliate program for them so the buyer buy I get commission. And traffic like not moving at all. In fact the failure is less articles and poor keywords arrangement - Poor post categories and tagging for post title only.
In 2021, I followed WA teaching as follow:
- Write post to help users not focus on selling.
- When you have traffic, you can sell anything.
- Focus on review post to help users.
- Pay attention to the rules of quality content - keywords in first 160 words and conclusion; one internal link, one external link, and one YouTube video.
- Pick best seller product to promote to get more audience.
- Aim for organic search which is key for success.
- Find co-keywords from every post to tag it. If the content can support a certain keyword, create it in the content.
Once the Goal is clear, I started working as per plan in 2021. I promote every seller electric bike I can regardless of having the affiliate program.
Your suggestion is right, I will apply for the affiliate program after my traffic is above 5000 visitors. I know my coach Ivan Broz already has more than 10,000 visitors per month. Without follow his footstep, my website still sleeping like in 2020.

Don't feel bad about working off-site. I have a job abroad in Vietnam ahead of me. The website is increasingly difficult to make money because trust no longer points internationally. When you have a job, go for it. This is real money that we can earn in the pandemic.
