Your Never To Old To Start Again - My Progress So Far
I am 59 Years old. Live in the UK. I was CEO of a couple of companies based around B2B telephone marketing. All Failed due to Co-Vid 19 forcing me to have to sell my house and car (I miss my Jag). So I started to look around the internet to re-start a company online from scratch with limited capital.
I came across a video featuring an ex - teacher called Mike Beatty talking about the benefits of joining WA, it was free to start. He came across so sincerely that I thought finally, something I can try out, so on March 16, 2021, I took the plunge.
I do have some experience writing and setting up websites, but had never thought of doing it the way WA suggest. Not being afraid of hard work, I immediately started on Lesson one.
I selected my niche and started to build a free website, then buying a .com for a proper business identity. Writing my first 1,000 + word post was challenging, it took me about 12 hours. I think it was mainly because I knew nothing about the subject matter, thus having to read several website pages to get a handle on the subject.
I have now written 5 posts and it is getting easier. The last post I wrote I managed to come up with most of the content off the top of my head. So I am pretty happy about that.
Just a couple of pointers for new people just joining WA that have helped me over the last 2 weeks, especially when I have had writers block.

Great for new people like me, writing broad based posts on their niche rather than targeted buy me now type of posts
I am glad to hear that you didnt quite, that you take action and you want you life back. It is a little hard when you start to write, but give yourself a time, that will be perfect. Hope you enjoying you journey.!

Thank you Jeffrey I realise it will take time. It's only been a couple of weeks and I am at the training stage of writing info articles. Next step in the training part 3 is to start to write about products. I think the writing part will be much easier because I will have to come up with less of my own words. The product description will take care of that.
