My First Major Milestone

I didn't think yesterday would amount too much with regard to my blogging activity because was going to meet one of my daughters. Who I hadn't seen for 18 months because of covid here in the UK. She gave me some bad news so I was pretty down in the mouth yesterday evening and didn't sleep very well last night.

So wasn't I surprised when I got up and sat down at my laptop. To finish my latest blog I had started on Wednesday. I did the usual routine of checking my personal email. Then logging on to google to see if it likes me yet (The answer to that is no it still doesn't't). Then checked my website email and there it was. The notification telling me I had sold something. I thought wow this is possible. And it has cheered me up no end after yesterdays bad news.

The Cart Before The Horse

I always thought my first major milestone would be 150,000 words (currently standing at just over 75.000). Then I was thinking I would seriously market the website and start to make sales. So it looks like the horse has come before the cart. This good news couldn't have come at a better time. Because I was starting to get annoyed that Google was never going to like me ha ha ha . So I think this sale has come through my Facebook activities. I post my blog pages in lots of different public groups in my niche

I will not be getting carried away by this news as I know I might not make a sale for another 3 months. (Unless Google takes a sudden shine to me) But this will spare me on as I now know it is possible if I just carry on blogging.
