Why do I love about paper cutting?
I'm a sunny and happy person, but sometimes I don't have a lot of patients. Especially when I was a teenager, I was a hot heads young girl. I was the only girl in the house, so I liked to imitate my brothers. I was kind of like a tomboy, and I like to do all things my brother does. My brothers all start to train martial art when they were very young, so I do the same. I like to break thing when I was young. For example, I like to break the wood, brick and door.
I remembered one day I forgot my bedroom key( I had to lock my bedroom because one of my brothers loves to steal my comic books. Well, he said is borrow, but I never get it back.) , so I jumped kick and break the door in a half. This made my parent so unhappy, oh dear, they were really mad. They started to think the way they tried to educate me is wrong. Why I more like a boy than their sons?
After the door incident, my hell day started. My parents in roll me in many talent classes, music, singing, drawing, art etc. No more the martial art advanced training, but I was still practicing privately and secretly. The mine purpose is to train me like a lady. Lol!
All the classes really helped me to have more patients and more like a girl (at least a little bit, ha ha). I started to have more patients for doing the things I like. For example, playing piano, painting, drawing, paper cutting, I can play 12 hours piano without stopping and this is my record till today. If I get involved in something I like, I became addict to it. On the contrary, if I do the things I don't like I still don't have the patience at all.
Paper cutting is an old Chinese art. The oldest surviving paper cut out is a symmetrical circle from the 6th century found in Xinjiang China.
Paper-cutting is a traditional style cutting in China. In Chinese culture, almost all the paper-cutting is done for health, prosperity or decorative purposes.
Chinese usually used the red color. In the old times, people would use the paper-cutting to decorate the windows of their house. Now around the world, many countries have so many paper cutting artist, some of them really amazed me.
After, I started to learn paper-cutting, and I like it a lot. It helps me to clear my mind, have more patients. Every time, when I finished my piece, I will full of joy and feel I achieve something in life. Before I always cut it in a big paper, but now I cut it in a small paper around 10 cm H x 13 cm W. And the paper are getting smaller and smaller. If I want to do the paper-cutting now, I not only need to have concentration, I also need to have good health and strong breathing control. Because any wrong movement will make a big mistake, then I need to do it again on another paper. You may notice the size of my paper-cutting is really small. Because I am a small person, so I like the small thing. I have a lot of fun for doing paper cutting.

Really enjoyed your post, my daughter was a bit like that, I have four brothers so I to was a bit of a tom boy as we call it.. do like you creation I admire the skill of crafting and glad you benefit from creating
Thank you for the comments, but everyone can do the paper cutting. It can be very easy or very difficult, just started with simple one, it's fun.

Yes, it needs a lot of patient and time consuming. Normally, I finished one piece of paper cutting 10 hours, that is minimum for a complicated piece, it can be up to 35 or more hours.
