Clicks - No Sales?
So it seems I am getting dome traction click-wise, but no sales. I was quite surprised to see my summary in my Dashboard feed...
After looking in Google Analytics, it seems that most of my clicks are coming from Ashburn in the US. I would like to know more about this audience and what is so interesting about my site.
Meanwhile, I would like to take the Dashboard summary down as I'm not sure whether everyone at WA can see it or not. I don't want them to!

Not every click you get will turn into a sale. But one thing you want to start to understand once you get enough traffic to a page is the source of the traffic.
It is tough to refine and polish conversions with less than 100 unique clicks, because there are too many variables to your audience at that point. But if you have a page that is getting a decent amount of traffic, you can run it by us (or send to me directly) and I can give you feedback.
The first thing you want to understand though is the source of your traffic. Is it coming from a ranking in Google? Google Console will help you out with this.
Oh thanks Kyle! I've only just noticed this as my site is being restored by Site Support at the moment...
I did update my plugins regularly beforehand - but have noticed that Thrive Leads got infected by malware...due to me not renewing the membership dues on time..

Hi Stella, not sure what is happening. I see Fintyd and Emmo1968 may be shedding some light on this subject. Do the clicks mean you are getting traffic from Ashburn in the US.

Yes Michael, after checking Google Analytics, the majority of the clicks are coming from Ashburn. I thought it was some teeanagers playing around, but from what the replies say here, it's a company just crunching numbers....
It has been going on for more than a year, because I checked last year and the same thing was happening - clicks from Ashburn...

Ashburn, Virginia is home to countless server farms. More companies than you could count run their operations through servers from that town. Among other things, it's the home of AOL.
Can you find other metrics that you can use to understand your audience, other than geography?
Also, are you only selling Amazon products? Amazon only has a 1 day cookie, which is horrible. Unless someone decides to buy immediately, odds are you won't earn commission from the sale.
A server farm...great...1 Day Cookies - even better...!
Fortunately, the site has now gotten hacked as in restoration mode by Site Support...I'm knee deep in Dropbox support as I don't know how to use it yet...
So traffic is the last thing on my mind right now...
