Just went Premium - Mixed feelings
Greetings my beloved followers ( I feel a bit like in Stargate SG-1 when using this term ). Welcome on my brand new blog! Please bare with me and ignore my small ironies while they happen to occur. I have taken a piece from my precious time ( that for now is not monetized as it should be ) to write about the new experience that I have just dived into.
Although I have said to myself that I will not pay for any other learning service until it will prove to be a good investment, I could not stand and I have thrown another set of coins in the fountain ( of luck, it was supposed to be ), which took so much of my "wealth", time and nerves in the last 2 years. Hopefully this one will prove to be a good investment, although the fee involved is quite ridiculous small in terms of the quantity of information, good or bad ( the jury is still out there ).
The coins are not a problem, the problem is when you invest a lot of time in things that do not work, following the path shown to you by well intended or mischievous guards guarding the gates of fortune.
I have mixed feelings regarding this last endeavor, not because I find this place a misleading one, but because the roads that brought me here got me really tired, loaded with filth and dirt, and with things I carry on with me that make me reserved towards the good deeds that motivate other people to help me ( spend my money and time ) with the somehow vague promise of a holly grail.
Also, my budget dropped considerably, together with my patience, while my anger and frustration has increased considerably, to the point where although I acknowledge the fact that I need a bit more information to be able to move in the right direction after the last online ventures, I also am aware that I might spend time in reading things that can prove to be useless.
I am trying to be somehow positive about this, as usual time will tell if it was a good decision. On the positive side, I have read enough around this place to learn that the informations offered are not empty words, my previous experience most often matching it ( although I admit that I have not dived deep, reading only a part of the starting training, news and blog articles ). Pretty soon I am sure I will learn new things, that will point me on the right path.
Since I have no local community to brainstorm ideas and develop online ventures, Wealthy Affiliates looks like the perfect place for this.
So, if you did not fell asleep while reading this, I congratulate you for that, and I ask you to wish me luck!

Thanks both of you :) There are a lot of positives in the years before, but the human mind always remembers first what's fresh.
Bottom line, I am sure I am in the right place.
One thing I have always said is to look forward, not back. You have a bright future ahead of you Stefan and use your past experiences (although negative) to power you moving forward.
You have a lot to look forward to and as you move through the training, take action, immerse yourself here within the community...and throw in a little hard work, you are going to do brilliantly well.

Stefan, I congratulate you for taking this step despite your misgivings and prior experiences. I think that you can make as much of this opportunity on WA as you are willing to make. It doesn't come easy or quickly. But I firmly believe that you have everything you need here: a community, great training, people who are willing and able to help you along the way, and really good tools like the keyword tool and website building. So, good luck and stick with it. I expect great things from you. I'm looking forward to seeing your website!

Been there man, invested a ton of money into every ebook, course and whatever BS you can think of.
