Does anyone use MS Word to post directly to your WordPress site? Does this make things easier?

Yes, I agree with Pj Germain , don't use MS word to copy and paste. I messed up one of my pages doing that and it took a while to straighten it out.

Thanks for the advice. I've been doing something similar to PjGermain, copy and paste doing all of the adjustments in WP

Not recommended. MS Word automatically adds some HTML code in their documents. If I would to create an article in Word and then simply copy and paste it into the WordPress visual editor, there would be a ton of HTML extras that mess things up. So, I generally write in a text editor such as Notepad. Then, copy and paste that and then adjust for headers, bold characters, links etc.
