1st Page of Google (3rd spot) With Just 2 Articles in the Travel Niche

It's been a long time since I last blogged here at WA. Today, I couldn't help but share with you a great achievement of mine in the travel niche.

I have created a travel blog in Portuguese (my mother language) back in October 2018 and created 2 articles about Slovenia.

I put in a lot of effort into choosing a theme for the blog (with maps) and writing the first 2 articles.

I wrote the article and used the fetch as Google, but I knew the article would not rank well because I know very well it takes time!

The competition in the travel niche is too high, even in Portuguese as there are many bloggers in the arena for years.

So, I simply forgot about the articles, and I became discouraged to continue posting for the next months. Instead, I decided to focus on my make money online website.

Today I accidentally logged in to my other analytics and discovered my travel blog site had received a few clicks.

I said WHAT?

Then, I made a Google search and I discovered the article was ranked on the first page for the main keyword I was targeting.

Here is the proof guys!

It's actually number 3 on the list for Vale do soca (Soca Valley)!

This article also ranked on the second page for the keyword "o lugar mais bonito da eslovenia" (the most beautiful place in Slovenia).

I mean, how amazing is that?

This goes on to show that the training here at WA works!

I have written an in-depth article just like Wa suggests, inserted lots of nice pictures of the places I have been to and BOOM!

The article started going up over time, and it eventually hit the first page.

No backlinks! No black hats tactic! Everything I did you can learn here at this great WA training!

The not so good news is that the site has received very few organic visits so far. Only 13!

That is probably because there are not many Brazilians interested in Slovenia yet. Still, there is a lot of competition for the keywords I ranked for. So, that's good!

The high rankings made me realise there is a lot of potential for this site to be one of the top in the travel niche in Portuguese.

If I start creating more posts, I have the potential to rank for many other high traffic keywords and eventually begin monetizing.

For the moment, I will focus on creating value, which is exactly what helped the high ranking as I have absolutely no wesite authority.

If you are not achieving the results you want now, focus on providing quality content and be patient. I know it's hard in the beginning, but all we can do is take action to give a good reason for Google to reward us with an excellent position.
