How to promote my site when my social media situation is like this?
Hello to you all WA members!
Friday morning here, I'm happy for weekend landing, but...
In the past days I was thinking about something that makes me a little worried about promoting my site. Yep, actually it isn't online yet, but I will build it up between this evening and tomorrow, still I know it will be hidden for a bit of time, since my social media network is really poor. I created an Instagram account a year ago, when I was planning to fullfill my etsy shop with my products, something I didn't manage to do for various reasons.
You know, I don't have any friends except for my housemates, and we are not really ''friends'' anyway.
What would you suggest?
Creating specific pages? Buying Likes or advertising packs?

Stacy, I don't have any real social media presence either. I have an Instagram account which I post pics on from time to time but that's about it.
The training here is primarily focused around leveraging search engines (like Google, Yahoo & Bing etc).
If you don't have a social media presence... It's not the end of the world, in fact it's no big deal at all.
Just stick with the training here & you'll soon see how you attract MASSES of visitors without ever having to login to a social media account (or buy likes or advertising packs) at all.

Dale gives a good answer, to which I would add this. Don't worry about what your SM presence is now, adjust it to move forward.
Personally I don't touch facebook, but do have a facebook page and I do use YouTube, Linkedin and Twitter

Yes, actually there's always time to improve my SM network... I just have to work hard and no worries then, maybe this is the key.
