Under Settings => Reading you can temporarily disable the search engine visibility ...
But you don't need to worry, for these things ... Just because your site/domain has been indexed, it doesn't mean that people will see your site instantly ... For that you will need well-ranked keyword-centered posts that could generate actual visitors.
I agree. The chances of someone finding your site this early on is pretty slim. I wouldn't even worry about it. It can sometimes take weeks to months before Google is ranking you for different articles.
Since it does take awhile, if you discourage Google from finding your site now, it will just add to the time it takes for Google to start "trusting" (mainly means it sees you as a good site with regular posts) your site and ranking you higher in the search results.

I could bet it would have been difficult to find my site so soon, but I had a moment of panic hehe

Don't worry about it... Even if it gets indexed you won't see a flood of visitors suddenly coming through the door. It'd be nice if it worked that way though haha. The visitors will only really start coming once you get quite a solid bit of content on there... So you're all good, no need to panic :)
