Baby Boomers adapt or die.
The other day I was interested to know how we baby boomers are adapting to the new digital age we find ourselves in. In particular the online marketing scene.
So i came across quite a lengthy report/survey. Towards the end this is what was said and found.
The boomer migration into social networking will only accelerate and social networks will serve three main purposes for boomers.
1) As a connection to family - keeping in touch with family and children without intruding.
2)As a connection to friends also as a way to meet new friends and to trace old friendships.
3)And as boomers redefine their roles in the workforce, business orientated social networking will become an increasingly important way to keep track of colleagues and to create new kinds of employment opportunities beyond the traditional 9 - 5 corporate roles.
It does add to say that boomers who resist this huge paradigm shift will be left behind!
I found it a very interesting report and to many out there a good wake-up call.
So it's back to the salt mines and grinding stones ladies and gentleman.

As one at the tail end of the baby boomers, I use technology is so many different ways. Since I live 1800 miles from from children and grandchildren, Skype has been the best way to interact with them. With an online business, communication with family, and even more communication throughout the day with my wife using text messaging, I love technology and I am on board.
I work from home which means I do not have to go somewhere a face workplace drama. I don't have a boss disappointed in me because I couldn't meet unrealistic expectations. I don't have to drive in the rain and snow and ice. I get out of bed, make coffee, and get to work. It is very stress free.
That is a fantastic lifestyle .............hopefully, someday you will be closer to your children and grandchildren.
