From Pastime to Passion: My Unexpected Journey with Wealthy Affiliate
When I first joined Wealthy Affiliate, I thought I was just looking for something to pass the time. What I found instead was a creative outlet that has become a true passion.
As an elderly, legally blind lady, I didn’t expect to dive into something so satisfying—or to build something that I’m truly proud of. With the help of AI, I’ve been able to craft articles that (I hope!) are both interesting and informative, with images that help bring the stories to life.
Now that I’ve gotten into a rhythm with content creation, my focus is shifting toward something I find a bit trickier: managing my time effectively and finding that balance between creating and marketing. I’m also curious about ways to keep articles fresh over time—especially on websites that are already filling out.
For those of you managing multiple websites, I’d love to hear how you keep everything organized. Once an article becomes a bit outdated, how do you make sure it doesn’t get lost in the shuffle? I’ve browsed through the training videos but haven’t quite found one that tackles this specific issue—how to maintain and update content without losing momentum.
If you’ve found strategies that work, I would genuinely appreciate hearing your thoughts. How do you divide your time? What tools or routines help you stay on top of things?
Looking forward to learning from you all. Wealthy Affiliate is such a supportive and knowledgeable community—I know someone out there has cracked the code on this!

Hi Sylvia!
I'll address what could be perceived as outdated website content: I don't feel there is such a thing. It's like reading a book that's ten years old or older. The information was relevant at the time, and many of its pearls of wisdom remain applicable today.
The only thing I worry about is affiliate links that get lost. But, there's a plug-in for that! 😁
Best wishes with your online activities!
I completely understand what you are saying. I guess my thought process is that the information wikll get buried under the millions of newerposts that appear every day. I guess the answer is to proide information that attracts followers who will come back to revisit rather than depending on SEO to keep the articles up front.
Thank you for that suggestion. I will review training along that line. It seems like an impossible challenge -- but so did building a website. I am up for that challenge.
