Finally able to carry on from where I left off

Hey all!

I joined back in May of this year and got off to a great start working my way through the training and getting my first website up and running.

I then fell ill and got struck down with horrible symptoms which was later diagnosed as Multiple Sceloris a week into my hospital admission.

My main sympom has been partial sight loss, double vision and dizzyness (as well as other MS symptoms such as numbness, pain and fatigue) so you can imagine how disabling this has been for me recently.

I had to stop using my laptop and phone purely due to my vision problems.

I am pleased, however, to report that my vision has improved enough to allow me to be using my laptop to be writing this update!

I still have double vision and I use adaptaive aids and an eye patch to help me get around and to function but it's a heck of a lot better than what it was.

This is why WA is SO SO important to me now and in the future. I need to be self sufficient with my income as currently I'm on sick pay from my day job with no hope of returning to work anytime soon with my symptoms the way they are. So money is tight right now.

I am keen and excited to pick up where I left off and continue my journey.

I know I have the unwavering support of this community and I thank you all for supporting me and cheering me on moving forward.

~Russell

Hello Russell. All I can say is keep going. My own journey here has been interrupted with family matters beyond my control. I'm still on my first post for my website (and I started in April). You're well ahead of me! I've found WA to be the most supportive online community. You are doing great. Glad to hear you are making progress toward recovery. You are not alone here. Reach out anytime. The only way to fail is to quit.

I am very sorry to hear about the MS. It is in my family and it is true that is disabling. I hope the onset is very slow and you have
many productive years ahead of you. Thank you for sharing your story. I wish you the best :)

I'm hoping the treatment I'm receiving will make my MS more manageable and slow down the progression. Thank you for your words of support take care :)
