Voila!

I have completed lessons 3 and 5, fulifilled so many tasks for my website.

As I progressed through the lessons, I was anticipating the AHA! moment hidden in one of the tasks. I mean the moment when you earn your first buck from affiliate marketing. It has turned out that actually such expectation shouldn't be very much fundamental when compared to the knowledge gained. Oh yes, I haven't made my first income yet but the knowledge I gained is very fulfilling during these 7 weeks of intensive learning and building. I am happy.

Valuing The Principle & Philosophy of 'Give and Take'

Beside valuing the knowledge, the other thing that I value most here is the community support. This entails the principle and philosophy of 'give and take'. I love this so much because there are many committed to it. I like reading from some members say, 'if you scratch my back I scratch yours too'. Well, that's all about Marketing really. In the olden times and even now, people simply do 'trade by barter'. I need you and you need me. I need your Veggie diet and you need my 3D food printer. I need your comments and you need mine. I need someone checking out my website for me with some feedbacks on what I can improve on, and someone needs me to check out his/her website with some feedbacks as well... This is in essence a community for everybody's growth based on a reciprocal princple 'give and take'. This is a reason to keep the headlights on witihin WA.

Bugged Down on Lesson 4

I became bugged down on lesson 4 by the need to create accounts with Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest. I am happy with Google Plus and already building up the profile. I am not particularly excited about Facebook because of data mishandlings and a lot coming out in recent days on their activities. Taking the social media campaign for my website onward will be something that I will like focus on G+. The story floating on WA today that Google Plus will be shut down by Google came up to me as a dilemma. But I can only say well well well, goodbye to spending anytime on social media marketing campaign. WA introduced me to G plus and I Iike it - I wish it stays on but improved or rebranded instead of a total shutdown.

Moving Forward

My focus now continues to be on continual improvement of my website and writing more quality reviews on products. I will continue to devout some time in 'give and take' principle enshrined in WA community. I see the first buck reaching my pocket soon as I cruise through the night roads.
