Hey Paul,

Google searching the prompt you were given: "This user does not have an AdSense account. Please check that the email address matches your AdSense account address. New accounts may take up to 24 hours to appear" (without the quotation marks, of course) and it appears to be a common issue.

The second thing share in the search results displayed this prompt with "Solved" in front of it. You may find a resolve if you run the same search.

Hope you find this helpful.

That happened to me also.

Hi Trish,

Thank you for your advice. Not sure why I never thought to Google the issue actually....

I got the answer. Basically it recommended that I switch to a different browser. I was using IE but when switching to Chrome it worked just fine.

Learning every day here at WA :)

Kind regards,
Paul

Yeeeeah!... you found a resolve, and THAT is what truly matters. :-))

If you can't access your Gmail account, create a new one

Hi Marion,
Thanks for the response. I do have access to my Gmail account but for some reason it is not allowing me to set up AdSense. I managed Google Analytics without any issue but this is weird.

Hi WA friends,

I have been searching and searching for an independent Affiliate Program in my chosen fitness niche but every time I think I've found one that is relevant

CJ Affiliate is one Kyle suggested in training and I have been using them.
KyleAnn

Thanks KyleAnn for the recommendation, yes I've registered with them already.

I would suggest thinking of popular brands within your chosen niche, then go to google and search like it's suggested in the training "brand/product" + affiliate program. That should help you find self-hosted programs that are not part of the bigger affiliate companies. Hope that helps!

Hi Jennifer.

This is what I had tried but what I found was that many companies/brand names were associated with Affiliate Networks. I was expecting to set up an affiliate program directly with a company.

Thanks for the advice, it is very much appreciated.

Just keep trying. They're normally a bit harder to find, but they do exist. Good Luck!

Hey thanks Jennifer :) I wasn't exactly thinking about promoting machines but perhaps I should re-think that.

Always happy to help! It was one of the ones that came up when I searched "fitness affiliate program". All depends on how specific you are with your searches.

Hey Paul,

There are several independent affiliate programs for the fitness niche, offered inside Clickbank.

Clickbank may be terrible for some niches (example: making money), but most times, the fitness niche offers great products.

Hope you find this helpful.

Hi Trish,

Yes, I was checking out ClickBank this afternoon following Derek's recommendation below and it certainly looks like a good fit.

Thanks for the feedback.

Many affiliate programs use places like ClickBank, JVZoo Share a sale or one of the many others to manage their affiliate program.

This is mainly because these companies already have in place all of the necessary software etc to run an efficient affiliate program.

Derek

Thank you Derek. I will take a look at them.

Rakuten and Share A Sale come to mind!

Thank you Mike. I think I understand the difference between the two now. I thought independent meant signing up with a single supplier/company.
