Affiliate Marketing: Better Than Sliced Bread

Affiliate marketing and Wealthy Affiliate remind me a lot of what I do daily as a chief marketing officer of a restaurant chain.
I get to visit retirement homes, local organizations, sports teams, schools and tour guide operators to speak about and vent about the restaurants that I represent.
I even get to invite them to come and try the restaurants for free. To try them is to adopt them. They truly are amazing.
I have the opportunity to speak about all of the amazing charity work that they have done over the past years and let the entire community know how involved they are.

Although I don't get paid for every client that I bring into the restaurants, it’s my job and my responsibility to introduce new people to the chain and to get current clients to come back.
My point is that every day, on our blogs/websites, we have the opportunity to write about the affiliates that we represent. To me, it's a serious thing. It's an amazing opportunity to be able to work with big brands. It's not only about putting up banners on our sites. It's about being passionate about them as well.
Choosing the right affiliate program is just as important.
Knowing about the business is a must.
We can't go out and sell something that we know nothing about.
Let's learn about our affiliates and become true ambassadors for them. When we do, that's when the ''real'' money will start coming in.
Happy Tuesday!
