Hi - the first thing to remember is that you will be expected to write a lot of content on your chosen niche, everything original, nothing copied and pasted.
A minimum of 2 to 3 articles every week, preferably at 1000 words or more.
And the more content the better. You need to show Google that you are an authority on your niche subject.
Therefore, it makes sense that it should be a subject you are genuinely interested in and have some knowledge of, or at the very least, would enjoy researching.
If you are able to understand what problems people may have with curly hair, and can advise them, then your niche is fine.
Curly hair is great however need a target audience, folks who would benefits most from what you have to offer.
A niche subject is something you are passionate and genuinely interested in could be a hobby or an interest, and know so well you can write plenty original content about.
