Well it's been awhile since I've written anything here, and to some of you that might come across as lazy. NOT THE CASE!

Sometimes we don't know what's going on behind the scenes. It's harvest time here in the country and I'm actually getting about two post a week done, which I realize is not one a day, but I'm pretty proud of myself for getting two in there. And I will say it is getting easier, but the research that goes into each post really slows me down. I think I might possibly have the "it has to be perfect" thing going on. I really want it to be the best it can be.

I'm still having a lot of problems with the techie stuff. There are so many things I want to be able to do with my site, but the good news is!!!!I NOW HAVE TABS ON MY SITE! or rather a menu. And even though I went to the chat three times for direction! I DID IT!

I am still struggling with the comparison issue. When I read some of the blog post and websites of others I get a bit jealous. Some of you have some really impressive sites, and I can't wait to get there. I don't feel I'm anywhere near being able to give anyone advise on what or how to do things better, and when I read the questions people ask I seldom have an answer that I can give them.

I feel like I should be moving faster than I am in the training also. I'm just slow. I am DOING SOMETHING everyday. It might just be visiting a few websites and leaving comments or reading several blogs, or gathering up information for a post...but I'm doing something everyday!

So yeah, this ole girl is slow, but she is working. And again I have to say THANK YOU to all you awesome people that are helping me along the way! You are SO APPRECIATED!!

Here's to the Journey!

Nice post, I can identify! The main thing is to keep moving forward, that's what I keep telling myself.

Here's to success @ WA!

Cora

absolutely. Sometimes I think I'm spinning my wheels but when I see where I've come from it doesn't look like where I'm going is all that far! My theroy with any job is to pay attention to where you are...don't look ahead. Ya know you look ahead and think oh my I'll never get this done...but if you pay attention to where you are...pretty soon you are there! NOW that your there...look back and be proud of yourself for what you have done!

You make some great appearances Susan. Do you raise wheat, corn or soybeans?

lol I raise flowers ...lol ....I'm using harvest time for an excuse! BAHA!

We all have our own "rhythm" ...

Keep pushing Susan!

thank you! and you are right! I guess I like the slow songs!

As time is of no importance in WA, every step forward no matter how small can be a major achievement.

Derek

exactly as long as your stepping! something is happening!

Every little step forward is one step in the right direction.
Sometimes it takes a little longer
Have a great day
Tommy

thanks tommy! slow steps are at least steps...right?

Yes, as long there is movement
Have a great day

Hi Susan
We all work at a different pace and as long as you are adding great content, this is the main thing. The bells and whistles will come but great content is the key and you are doing great
Keep on growing
Vicki :)))

well, I'm not sure my content is so great. I'm basically just being me...and I'm enjoying every minute of it...(except the techie stuff!, I think I need to hire an expert for that!) but I am enjoying the writing. It's kinda fun once you get the hang of it. I remember when it took me all day just to think of a sentence, and now before I know it I've written 2000 words or more and still don't want to stop! I just need to get more people to read it! Then I will know if it's "good".

go to the Comments and feedback thread in websites Susan and you will get lots of good comments and helpful feedback there my friend
Vicki

I do...but I maybe only get one or two.

Thanks for sharing.

How is your journey going Rog? Are ya moving along?

No, not really. Now that I'm home, I have to start taking care of some things. Then I have to get ready to move out of here.

where ya going to move too if ya don't mind me asking?

Nothing wrong with slow and steady. Also some of those sites look awesome but I am sure if we knew how long it took them we would be very surprised.
Iam not there yet either but I have many things on my plate daily so not concerned.
Take care

Absolutely! I just feel like as long as I'm doing something...it's a step closer than yesterday!

Susan,
We are not running a marathon all good things come to those
who are patient and put in whatever amount of time they
can afford to on a daily basis.
Harvest time - would I just love to be back in the country
in town blah - I loved the canning and putting up of my own
homemade spaghetti sauce sure do miss those times :)
Thank you for the good memories tonight was very sweet
of you to blog this one :)

Thanks Marley and thank you for all your help! I'd love to have half your knowledge! And aww yes...I love the country! I feel like I'm living my dream after the hustle and bustle of the city life for all those years...this is paradise!

Susan,
I am here for you anytime you need help - if need be PM me I always answer within 24 hours usually sooner :)
And my knowledge comes from being here 12 to 18 hours a
day nothing more wish I had other things to do but I live alone
with my dogs so not much to keep me busy - I hate television
LOL :)

You take care and anytime you need anything at all just let me
know :)
