Today I am faced with accepting power!

The challenge is to accept that we are fortunate to have a Voice.

Every time someone steps up to the podium and shouts out their opinion they are being heard for several reasons.

Power of Suggestion can take place immediately in a confrontation with someone.

First signals come through Body Language and Voice Tone!

7 suggestions to Voice your Opinion

1. Hold body upright, head high.
2. Use props to direct point of interest.
3. Speak with a positive tone.
4. Keep on track
5. Use polite words
6. Engage and ask audience questions
7. Let go of feelings of ego of perfection

When to voice your opinion

• When making a valid point of your personal perspective
• Standing up for your human rights
• Advocating for someone else
• Giving feedback to an agency
• Speaking up about a cause
• Providing information about a product or service

It is a human right to be able to voice your opinion!

And we can not take this right lightly or neglect our power.

There can be misuse of this power and the consequences can be high.

I have had many life events where I have needed to voice my opinion, cases where I have had to defend my human rights and I have liberated and freed myself as a result.

Here in Wealthy Affiliate it is possible to voice your opinion on many topics, excluding politics and religion, as these topics can be viewed as causing segregation on a business platform.

I feel the need to express that having an opinion does not make it right or wrong!

Having an opinion is a personal experience and built around values and beliefs.

Not everyone is going to share the same opinion and that is the beauty about how diverse the human is.

But the fact remains that having a voice is power and it can enhance your life.

Enhancing your life is voicing your needs, wants and desires!

By understanding all this we need to identify our values.

What makes us do the things we do?

I am wondering if voicing your opinion has been difficult my fellow entrepreneurs or you find it easy to speak your mind?

Either way there are some ways you can overcome being heard.

And that is

• Speaking to a safe environment where the audience is open to listening to you speak.
• Finding support to debrief with.
• Write down what you want to talk about first before speaking it and editing the speech where you feel needs more clarification or reflection.
• Giving some space of silence between the speech for the audience to catch up in their own reflection.
• Recording your own tone and voice to hear yourself and how you are talking before going public.

I am sure there can be more ways to overcome these barriers with further discussions and thoughts.
