That's when I decided to Upgrade to Premium.

First of all, I can't believe it took me three months to upgrade! I'm probably going to write my first blog post on what it has potentially cost me by not starting then. LOL!!!

What has been holding me back? Who knows.... tons of excuses... not ready to be ready.... fear... laziness... not believing it was possible.... depression? Maybe all of that. It's amazing the excuses we make for ourselves so we can stay stuck doing the same thing every day, and wishing we could do or be or have something else. So what changed for me? What made today the day to take the plunge and become a premium member? What changed my belief? I don't know if it was one thing or many. I think it comes down to two points.

#1: I'm uncomfortable. Debt is one source of discomfort, and physically what I'm doing to keep up with my bills is hurting me. I'm literally in physical pain, and there is no exit strategy by continuing with that line of work in sight. There is no light at the end of the tunnel for my physical or financial well-being. I'm sick of treading water.

#2: I'm tired of seeing and understanding that this is possible, and doing nothing about it. Hours turn into a day, and a day into weeks so quickly. Not getting started right away, and making an excuse about doing a training after I eat, or do an errand, or finish the laundry, is like being in quicksand. The excuses gave me a reason to put it off, and putting it off made me feel inadequate. Maybe it's the perfectionist in me. Maybe it's the fear of not succeeding. Maybe I'm afraid I don't have a voice, or that no one will care. Today, I've decided I have nothing to loose. I joined because I read Nathaniell's posts, and he's been sending me emails and I realized that I resonate with his voice. He talks to me like we're old friends, and it's the same way I talk. I thought, I can totally do that, and maybe there are people like me like me out there, sitting on the sidelines too. People who wonder if it's really possible to make some extra income from home while they raise their children, or if they need some extra income to supplement their retirement. It's possible I'll resonate with them on a topic we have in common. Maybe I'll be the one that has the encouraging word that helps them believe in them self enough to try. Maybe I'll be the one who gets them past their fears and makes a difference in their lives. Why not?! I have several every day, regular folks whom I follow and who are my online heroes. Would it be so bad to be one of them?

The best part, is that Nathaniell said he was here to help me succeed, and he's proved it by sending me valuable information, and sharing real stories of how it's not overnight thing. I like how he never "blows smoke", and he's real about how it might take a few months to see any kind of sale, but persistance pays off. That the training in WA is marketable, and works. That the people here are just real about it. I appreciate that more than anything.
