Its not easy or quick!
I have only been a member here for a few days, but I have participated in a webinar, and have read many blogs, taken classes and interacted with members. I think the average person thinks that "making money on the internet is easy. Set it and forget it. A web site is a money making machine." Nothing can be farther from the truth. Its not easy. Its not fast. Its a lot to learn, its a lot of work just to figure out what you want to do let alone how you are going to do it.
SEO optimization is a continuous process and is a step no one can avoid. Using the right key words are critical, picking your niche is critical. And most of all figuring out how all of this fits together is a lot of work.
Sure its easy to set up a web site, but what good is it if no one sees it?
The good news is if you do the work it will pay off.

Success by design it slow and requires hard work. Those that chase the shortcuts or the "quick" are those that find themselves never reaching success.
Warren Buffet said it nicely:
"It's pretty easy to get well-to-do slowly. But it's not easy to get rich quick."
This is the truth. Anyone that gives themselves adequate time here and works through the bumps (we all have them along the way), is going to create a business.
I have yet to see someone fail that didn't quit and this will always remain the case. It sounds like your approach to this business is one that is realistic and I think that this alone Allen is going to equate to much more success.

I see it the same way you do, but that's a good thing, especially for newbies! That means we are not going to bite off more than we can chew and have crazy expectations.
Don't get me wrong, I want this to work $ and I know it will. But that's because I know I will remain dedicated, willing to learn and work. And if ever I get discouraged, I'll come back and read this blog. ;)
