I have just posted new content on my website. It’s the first time I’ve been in my back office for a few days. The last time I was there, in fact, since the website has existed I had been fortunate enough to have zero attacks. Now when I log in today I find this:

That seems to be a lot of attempts to access my back office in such a short time. For that many different IP addresses to be involved from one country makes me think it has to be an organized gang, perhaps even with their government’s backing, dare I say it.
All credit to my security plug in for keeping them out. If my user name was admin or my domain name they might have got in.
Has anyone else here inside WA noticed any increase in hacking attempts in the last few days? I ask because I’m wondering if it has anything to do with the recent duplicate accounts that have appeared here possibly attacking our URLs. Or it just may be that my website is getting more exposure on Google and is there for the would be hackers to see as well as desirable visitors.
