That which doesn't kill you will only make you stronger

Welp! I'll tell you what about it (a little Hillbilly humor here)! I can't say these last 4 months have been the worst in my life, but they're right up there with the top ten! February 22,2014 is when it all started. I won't name any names throughout this post, because it's unprofessional. I saw where my Daughter In Law signed up with an outfit that where you pay $1 for a trial offer, then everybody you sign up to do a trial offer, you get paid anywhere from $20 to $120 per referral. I was desperate to get some money coming in, so I gave it a try. I started trying to learn how to write a successful blog at that time as well, because I think people plastering their get rich quick ads all over facebook is just tacky.Right about that time, my Mother In Law, who is 81 years old wanted to come stay with us for a couple weeks. She's a critical Diabetic and she has to be on a kidney machine - in home Dialysis. I had 24 hours to learn how to operate this Dialysis machine and to take care of her Diabetic shots, medicine, etc. Trying to learn by myself all about SEO, Wordpress, building a web page, etc. was pretty overwhelming. My Mother In Law would sit across the table from me and just stare at me. About every other day, she would ask in a very loud voice "what-are-you-doing?!" She didn't like what I'm trying to do because she didn't understand it. I kept at it and refused to give up because 1) I was really getting interested in it, and 2) I'm 61 years old, can't get a decent job, so I have no choice. I have to make this work. Well, those 2 weeks turned in to 2 months for her to stay with us. A week before she went home, I fell and almost broke my leg, so I have THAT to deal with along with everything else. I was sick of the Affiliate Marketing job, because they teach us to put help wanted ads on Craigslist. I refuse to give some poor person hope of getting a job. I think this is false advertising. I kept hammering on learning how to build a blog, and by golly I finally got it accomplished. That's about the time I signed up with WA, and I was thrilled that I had found someone to teach me how to do this the right way (still am). Last week, somebody hacked in to the Admin area of my website and totally took it over! I got all their posts erased, transferred the website over here, and I thought all was well. I re-did all my pages the way I wanted them and everything. Now, last Thursday I came down with a horrible strain of the flu, so I haven't felt much like working. Yesterday, I came on to my WA site, pulled up my website, and guess what? EVERYTHING IS GONE! Isn't that special? *A note to all of you who transfer your domain over to WA.* When they tell you to wait 24 hours before doing any work on your site, they mean wait 24 hours before doing any work on your site! I have to start all over again, but you know what? I'm going to turn this bad experience in to a good one. I will be applying everything I've learned so far to my website as I'm re-building it, so it will be better than ever! I'm writing this especially to you newcomers to WA to let you know we all go through our trials and tribulations before attaining success. Two more things in closing: That which doesn't kill you will only make you stronger. Also, as Hank Williams would say - if you want to sing the blues, you gotta pay your dues. See ya!

I'm wishing you only good luck from now on.

Thank You!

Wow you sure have gone through a lot of ups and downs with affiliate marketing. Honestly I don't know if I would be able to come back after that. You're a real trooper. That makes me want to back up every article I write. Good luck and hang in there.

Either backing up your articles or printing them and keeping them in a file is a must! I'm old fashioned. I like to hand write most of my articles, and then I keep them in a notebook with the most recent one on top.

This internet marketing business is difficult enough to master without getting your content zinged into who knows where. You have a great attitude and sense of humor. All the best to you.

Thanks for the encouraging words
