That's why I joined Wealthy Affiliate, so I could learn how to earn a living from the internet through another source - affiliate marketing. I assume that's why just about everyone else here on WA joined as well; to learn how to make a fulltime or part-time income online.

Sometimes it's hard to believe that we now have global access to over 3 billion internet users. When, in the history of mankind, has there ever been so many vast opportunities as we are presented with now? Before, business could basically only access their local area. If they wanted to access other parts of the city or country, either franchises needed to be set up, or a series of chain stores built.

Of course, much of the business world still works this way, but now we can actually form businesses that run entirely online and can attract customers from every corner of the globe.

That's incredible when you really take a moment to grasp the magnitude of that potential.

As marketers it's our job to help people, as well as learn how best to tap into this enormous worldwide digital economy. Exciting times are with us now, and who knows what the future holds in this business. Anything is possible.

Some of us here on Wealthy Affiliate could very well go on to become online millionaires. Maybe some already have. Whether it's through our affiliate marketing efforts, or applying the fundamentals of what we learn here to other business ventures, it is possible to make a lot of money online.

In one form or another I've been earning a living from the internet since 2010. Even before that I was making some part-time cash online since way back in 2004.
