Adding More Content to my Website
As usual I had another post I been procrastinating with and I finally got it published today!! I started this post maybe a week ago and only had 46 words written. Well today somehow it got to over 1300 words!!!
It's interesting when I think I have nothing to say about a topic (and it being a topic I didn't really want to cover) I end up pulling an encyclopedia out of me lol.
I have to go add pictures and links to it now since I published it with Site Content (I hate doing it like this, but I'm going to keep at it for now).
I love that when I get to these problem posts I still get them out. Even though it slows me down and I try to avoid them, I'm proud that I don't let myself abandon ship. I used to run the other way when I encountered something that wasn't as delightful as I expect things to be. But my discipline has definitely been improving and so has my ability to write wordy posts lol.
Do any of you struggle with problem posts? Do you push them to the side or struggle through it until it's done?
Have a great day everyone!

I struggle with it and I thought I chose an easy niche, but now it seems like the most difficult one. I just can't find the words to write any content. What did you do to get 1300 words?
Hi Nick!!
I wrote an outline and filled it in as I went. The more I wrote the more came to me, the more I wanted to talk about.
Here's a sample one briefly:
Why We Need Trees?
Provides homes for animals
1)Talk about squirrels
2)Talk about birds
a) talk about a time you found a nest when you were a kid
3)Talk about certain species of monkeys that rely on trees
Regulates Air Quality
1)Talk about respiration of trees
2)Talk about respiration of humans and animals
3)Talk about air quality in big cities vs countryside
Products
1)Talk about wood to build houses
2)Talk about wood furniture
3)Talk about paper
4)Talk about incense (sandalwood)
5)Talk about BBQ (Hickory)
6)Talk about Maple Sugar
If you were to fill out all those areas you would have a pretty lengthy post and you may find there's more you could add.
If I get an outline down I'm guaranteed to do the post even if I walk away for a week. I have the map sitting right there so I have a direction to follow and the info flows.
Pick out the main points/problems of your topic and write them down immediately. Fill it out over time and make fine tuned adjustments before you publish it. This helps me to not be overwhelmed.
I had 640 words yesterday and today when I went back to fill the rest in it ended up over 1300 words and I said ok, maybe I should stop now lol. Just take it on in sections. I hope this helps you some :)
I am in fact struggling as we speak with this problem!! I just can't seem to find the words! I'm really focused on helping people right now and bringing up my motivation, so that in time ill be able to jump back in the groove of things! Thanks for your posts my friend! It's very encouraging!

Hiya Misty!
I heard procrastination is good if you procrastinate the right way. I may not work on website posts, but I will be researching, reading, watching helpful videos, do other things I love to give my brain a chance to reset and be refreshed.
Grinding the pavement includes the times when you're taking care of yourself so you don't reach burnout. Taking small breaks should be part of the process just hold yourself accountable that you won't let a whole month pass.
Be patient with yourself (patience is my word of the month) and allow creativity to flow through you, don't rush it. We'll get our rhythms soon enough. This will all be like second nature for us one day just as it is for my friend Eddy.
Keep the faith and hang in there; we're doing this for our future. I believe in you Misty!!! :)
Thanks girl! I believe in you too! Here's to friendship and holding each other up!!!
Cheers my friend,
Misty
Hey Sharlita,
Not anymore. All of my posts tend to be reviews. They all follow the same outline so it's just a matter of filling in the information. So I don't deal with writers block anymore. Reviews are by far the easites content to write.
Hi Eddy!
I agree the reviews are easiest. I love doing those posts because I have so much to share and am excited about that, but I'm also tackling best practices, organization, how I keep up with everything with making money online and that's not as exciting or automated, but necessary :(
I keep telling myself once I get that all out the way it should be smoother sailing from there. I got to chug through the vegetables first so I can enjoy my apple pie with whipped cream later lol :)

I don't really have problems with posts because I DON'T WRITE ABOUT ANYTHING I ' don't really want to cover!
Maybe it is time to change what you are writing about.
