Internet Service Provider
Who Is Your internet Service Provider?
We talk a lot about the different Ai programs and blogging and such everyday. We speak about being independent from the 9-5 system if we get really good at affiliate marketing ect.
However, unless I am living under a rock I haven't seen much or any discussion around internet connection or providers. I guest I'll be one of many who will start this discussion.
1. Who is your internet provider?
2. How is your service with them?
3. Do you like the service that they provide you with?
4. Are there some hiccups about this particular company that you may not like?
Internet headache
I have AT&T as my internet service provider. I've been pretty happy with the service I have with them. No issues to date and I am a long time customer of theirs.
However, I have read and heard from countless people about AT&Ts terrible customer service. Although that has not been the case with my experience at all.
I also had Xfinity (Comcast). I did not have a good experience with their service. At first all things were running smoothly. Then came the instability in their net work. For my region I would suppose that with a lot of people using this particular internet service provider that would cause the slowdown in network speeds.
But for it to happen everyday and when I am browsing or working on my articles here or on google dox is a issue for me. My web browser shut down often all the while I am working. Then I was blocked from accessing a work site for my job I formerly was employed at.
I did not purchase a VPN and could not make heads or tales as to why I could not access the site. After that headache I decided to let Xfinity go and come back to AT&T.
I started off with AT&T and I let them go earlier in the year because i didn't have the money to pay my next bill. 😅 Thought I could slide by and get a cheaper provider whose purpose serve the same role. (In the end I just was out of more money.)
When I had got a new job and needed to access the company website Xfinity blocked me. I have no idea why. I do not have a VPN. They said on their website that they do not block websites yet I am not the only one who has reported about this.
Anyway, I let xfinity go and came back to AT&T. I lost the job too. So, hey it was a two for one. I have a second job to fall back on plus I am out of school. I can pick back up where I left off at with my blogging.
Sincerely,
Ms. Kida

I use Brightspeed--an offshoot of Centurylink, and they have had stellar service in the past 9 years, Ms Kida!
Jeff
Here it is a cable service, not a satellite or fiber service. The pricing is competitive--we have two cell lines at $14 per month each, with 1 Gig of data--we don't usually need more, but when we exceed the 1 Gig, it just adds another 1Gig for another $14. The internet service is $74.99.
okay auto up charge if you go over the 1 gig. I dont have that issue with AT&T. It's a little pricier though. I think my 1 gig is like $80 ish. Im mostly not home, So, no way to go over the 1 gig. But it was at the time necessary to have when i was in college.
